Yeli Orog is a short atmospheric FMV game about an immense archaeological discovery: A bizarre stone tablet written in the Celtiberian language found buried underneath an ancient dolmen in northern Spain.

It's gratifying that many free games manage to deliver a memorable experience that many paid games wouldn't even come close to delivering, and this developer and his games manage to produce that rare piece to experience. Yeli Orog is a short fmv/point'n'click psychedelic journey with a visceral and fearful cosmic horror. From the same mind behind Universe Generator, this tends to be the precursor that manages to generate essence in the mountains of madness in Asturias. If you're a fan of Lovecraftian genres and appreciate their incomprehensible cosmic madness, try to immerse yourself in this game's short runtime. Even if there's no save during the game's one hour or so, you won't be disappointed in this short cosmic ghost train travel.
Wander around and find some clues. Feels more like an experimental game and there's not much story here. If you like point & click adventure games you might find it somewhat interesting, but nonetheless it's a very unusual experience.
A solid Indie title in the same vein as Myst / Riven etc. Beautiful photography and a devoted solo developer who decided to give his project to the masses for free. Well worth a look. Short but fun. 7\10

Well, it's a meh from me, but it's free and a one-person project so I give it a thumbs up. I liked the minigame where you had to find the monster in the dark room before you go insane. Apart from that there was not much fun to be had, mostly I think because what happens doesn't really make sense apart from the explanation that demons work in chaotic ways^^
How NOT to do story in a game. Start with page upon page upon page of small black text on white background with no visuals and no audio except some ambient wind noises. So how is the story? Not very interesting. The gameplay? Pixel hunting point n click, not for me.
Man, Yeli Orog started out promising, then it did that weird FMV / point and click thing where the developer chose to show every single corner of the house, every angle, every screen, without actually having a reason other than nagging "perfectionism" or something probably. There's no reason to show off every wall in your house if there's nothing to do on that screen, it just adds more unnecessary clicks to get through the game. Speaking of, figuring out where to click on the screen to advance to the next area is really frustrating as sometimes up isn't up, but to the left, or not up enough, or you'll go down instead of forward. I often ended up having to go around in circles with the lights on, off, on again until I figured out which corner it was that I wasn't looking at correctly. There are some interesting segments within; the abstract parts are nice but the puzzles are too vague and require brute-forcing but, once you've figured out the first one, the rest are a piece of cake. I honestly have no idea what the story is about, there's no conclusion and that's just a bit annoying. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1g-CGx9o2Tc
"21:9 not supported" More like "I can't be bothered to implement full-screen properly or a windowed mode"
