bes t yakuza shinada fart on me please
Took 8 months break, playing on and off still struggling to finish this pile of trash. Worst game in the series close to yakuza 3.
It's a great Yakuza game, until this point I have played 0-5. The story is a little all over the place, but its a wonderful tour through Japan. Despite initially rolling my eyes at the Haruka chapter, it had some of the most fun mini-games. For the price, you really can't go wrong.
Final Score: 95/100
Peak Yakuza; I can't even do it justice with a review. Having RACING missions as a Taxi driver and upgrading and tuning that Taxi was already fire enough to begin with; then we had some prison break typa ♥♥♥♥ followed by snowy mountain hunting?? Did not see the latter coming at all, and while I personally did not enjoy it much, it was still impressive to have; then we get to BE an idol and sing, dance and perform as an idol!! We get to be a baseball batter too btw. This game just hits different and I haven't even touched the surface of what it has to offer especially story-wise! Oh and it has the AIR HOCKEY MINIGAME
Score Breakdown
Gameplay Experience: 24/25 Presentation & Immersion: 24/25 Design & Technical Aspects: 24/25 Final Considerations: 23/25
shinada's cool
Game is very rough around the edges but once again it has playable Akiyama. If you enjoyed playing as Akiyama in Yakuza 4, play this game too.
This is the first single player game for me that truly captivated me. Everyday I woke up I would look forward to playing and being able to experience the world of Yakuza and its wonderful set of characters. This was the first Yakuza game that I sat down and fully immersed myself in (not to say that the other titles were bad, they're amazing as well). The sidestories were all fun and built upon the character's appeal and charm wonderfully. Shinada was a breath of fresh air with his unique combat style and backstory. Tatsuya was a great way to incorporate food into the mix, and the tourist spot photographs encouraged exploration of all the cities that were introduced as well. Haruka's rhythm game was a nice break from the constant action which I found to be quite nice. The build up to the climax of the story and the way it ended was just so cinematic, so sublime that you honestly would have to play yourself to witness. This has been one of the best games I have ever played, and may ever play.
