I remember trying this back in the days and thinking its hardcore and unforgiving... And now I've just blasted through the career mode without breaking a sweat XD I guess I can pat myself on the back for making such progress as a gamer ;p Imo, it still looks good, and it's just very easy on the eyes with its colorful but not oversaturated color palette, sharp and detailed car models, long drawing distance, different times of day and weather effects affecting not only looks, but also the driving itself. Cars are similar, but legally distinct from the real-life rally classics :) Each model is easily recognizable and you can tell where it draws inspiration from, even if you aren't a big time car guy. You have to buy all your cars yourself, modify and tune up with your hard-earned money, repair if you destroy them and even change tires regularly. It sounds more hardcore than it really is. Most of the time I managed to win races on first or 2nd try, as the margin for mistakes the game leaves for you is rather wide. If you stay focused and use brakes sometimes, you should stack up big pile of cash and collect (or win in races) at least 3 - 5 cars in the span of your career. So even if theoretically you can lose all your money and destroy all your cars - and therefore lose completely in career mode, it's rather unlikely to happen, unless you intentionally go for auto-destruction. The game has few big maps with different environments, and all the tracks are marked out within their constrains. So, you will see the same corners, straights, hairpins or bridges on many different races. It's all completely fictional, and only loosely mimics real-life rally stages, but is pretty creatively laid out, and will throw at you a solid flurry of different corners, hills and valleys, bridges, jumps etc... There's a impressive amount of physically active assets around the tracks, so you can destroy some fences or barriers when you crash into them. Also, many corners look like they were designed to be cut, often you can squeeze your car between the palmtrees and gain half a second on your opponents. It's risky, bc just a small touch of a tree trunk at high speed can shatter your chance of winning, but the game just let's you take that risk and doesn't restart your car immediately and doesn't impose a penalty on you for cutting. Very cool, I like when racing games don't punish me for having fun :)
Çok can sıkıcı bir durum. Günümüzde her bilgisayarın çalıştıracağını düşünüyorum. Başka incelemede görüşmek üzere <3
Xpand Rally Xtreme, developed and published by Techland, is a rally racing game that seeks to strike a balance between realistic driving physics and accessible gameplay. Set against the backdrop of various challenging rally courses around the world, the game aims to immerse players in the high-octane, adrenaline-fueled world of off-road racing. From the outset, it becomes clear that Xpand Rally Xtreme is designed for players who appreciate both the thrill of fast-paced racing and the nuance of vehicle tuning and terrain mastery. One of the most compelling aspects of Xpand Rally Xtreme is its focus on the authenticity of driving mechanics. The game’s physics engine emphasizes the ruggedness of rally racing, making every jump, slide, and turn feel impactful and demanding. The tracks themselves are packed with features that mirror real-world rally challenges—steep inclines, sharp corners, moguls, and varying surfaces like gravel, dirt, and mud. This variety ensures that players must constantly adapt their driving style to maintain control and speed. The sense of momentum and weight transfer in the cars is palpable, giving the player a strong connection to the vehicle and the environment. Mastering these dynamics is rewarding but requires practice, contributing to a steep but satisfying learning curve. Xpand Rally Xtreme further deepens its gameplay through a detailed car tuning system. Players can modify key components such as the turbocharger, suspension, brakes, and tires, tailoring their vehicles to specific tracks and racing conditions. This layer of customization adds strategic depth, as fine-tuning can mean the difference between winning and losing. The tuning interface, while not overly complex, offers enough granularity to appeal to enthusiasts who want to experiment with setups. Alongside vehicle adjustments, the game features an economic system where race winnings can be used to purchase new cars or repair damage, injecting an element of resource management into the racing experience. The game offers a variety of racing modes, broadening its appeal. The Off-Road Series focuses on 4x4 extreme cars tackling rough terrain, emphasizing endurance and control, while the Touring Challenge mode shifts to high-powered GT and DTM supercars, offering a faster, more aggressive racing experience. These distinct modes provide a welcome change of pace and allow players to test their skills across different driving disciplines. Each race mode brings unique challenges and requires a slightly different approach, keeping the gameplay fresh and engaging over time. Visually, Xpand Rally Xtreme presents a solid if somewhat dated package. The environments are well-designed with attention to detail in the tracks, including environmental features like rocks, trees, and weather effects that influence driving conditions. The dynamic weather system adds another layer of realism, with rain or fog impacting visibility and traction, forcing players to adapt their driving. While the graphics may not compare to modern racing titles, they remain functional and contribute effectively to the game’s immersive atmosphere. The sound design complements the visuals, with engine noises, tire screeches, and ambient sounds enhancing the sense of being in the middle of a high-stakes rally race. However, the game is not without its drawbacks. The difficulty level is notably high, especially for players new to rally racing. The unforgiving physics and punishing track designs can lead to frequent crashes and vehicle damage, which may frustrate casual gamers. The economic system, while adding depth, can also slow progression for those who struggle to win races consistently. Additionally, some players might find the game’s presentation and user interface somewhat clunky or outdated, which can impact accessibility and overall enjoyment. In summary, Xpand Rally Xtreme is a rally racing game that caters primarily to players seeking a realistic and challenging off-road driving experience. Its detailed physics, vehicle customization, and diverse racing modes combine to create a rich and rewarding package for fans of the genre. Although its difficulty and dated visuals may limit its appeal to a broader audience, those who appreciate the nuances of rally racing and are willing to invest the time to master its mechanics will find Xpand Rally Xtreme to be a compelling and immersive title that delivers a true taste of the sport’s demanding nature. Rating: 7/10
Sure, if you like Rally racing.

Man the Nostalgia Kicks hard from Techland for me Pros: • Good Stage Designs (examples like Italy and Malaysia) • Interesting and Solid Customization (like literally) • Music Composed From Pawel Blaszczak (a.k.a the man composed the Songs for the First Dying Light Game) Cons (pls techland dont be mad at me i love your games) • No 1920x1080 Resolution Support (i mean its ok) • Opponents sometimes Rubberbandy (but sometimes you can compete) • Some Prize Cars cannot bought from the dealership (its ok its a prize car afterall) my verdict: 9.85/10 (Pretty Good and Nostalgic its a shame that we couldnt get a sequel of the Xpand Rally Series we missed it a lot despite being overshadowed by the success of Dying Light Series (im not blaming it for that) but it gave a bright spark for techland we wish one day Techland can return to make racing games (i hope)
It is also good. Compared to Xpand Rally, this is... the same? It is built off the same base, has some of the same cars, and is basically the same, but has some wild vehicles and elevation change compared to Xpand Rally. More of a focus on offroad stuff. 6.5/10 Not bad. Background, music, and voices are worse in my opinion. The maps are much better though, with more turns and jumps.
