Título de breve duración y jugoso planteamiento que sin duda bebe de los clásicos. Como bien dejan caer en la descripción, es un metroidvania, lo cual queda bien impreso tanto en su apartado gráfico como en su jugabilidad. Cuentas con un arma que se sobrecarga y un mapa. La reducida variedad de enemigos no presenta especial desafío, si bien algunos detalles del entorno que pueden confundirse pueden ponerte en un aprieto. Aunque sí que me ha salido al paso algún que otro bug (ha habido uno por el cual he tenido que reiniciar partida) y existen algunos aspectos a pulir, Xenosis es un título muy recomendable para echar un ratillo entretenido. Indica que no es compatible con mando, pero en mi caso sí que he podido jugarlo con mando. Como entusiasta de este tipo de títulos, me parecería interesante ver en qué podría convertirse en profundidad.

It was a little lacking as a 'metroidvania' title in that no interesting abilities were experimented with, but it's a solid 2d platformer. For some reason the game recognises controller inputs, but Steam's own controller configuration doesn't recognise a pad(?) so unfortunately you're stuck with Face Button Left = Jump and Face Button Right = Shoot which is awkward to say the least.

Hopefully one day, this game will blossom into a fully fledged and functional game in the future... Unfortunately this is not the far future, so we're stuck with this... I guess, "Demo" of the game to hopefully come in the far future. At least there's potential with this game though, the controls aren't bad, the level design isn't terrible. and the combat is kind of simplistic, but not horrible. The visuals are pretty bad though, red spikes hide themselves way too well in the background and darkness, making damage taken from them kind of unfair, and if it wasn't for the map, that one keycard hidden in the far left wall would be pretty bad, all things considered. I may not recommend you play this game now, but maybe one day... It'll become something else... Maybe.

Сюжет игры постепенно раскрывает тайны заброшенной станции и загадочных существ, населяющих планету. Визуальная составляющая выполнена на высоком уровне, а звуковое сопровождение добавляет реализма и погружения. Xenosis не прощает легкомыслия, но именно эта сложность и заставляет возвращаться к ней снова и снова, стремясь преодолеть очередное препятствие. Если вы любите жанр survival, то эта игра точно заслуживает вашего внимания.
