Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 11/day in the week to Aug 14 → 18.29/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; PlayStation, Xbox, GOG publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Reviews
Pretty good commander. One mission was buggy, but overall the combat is interesting and there are many different ways to play.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Amazing game!
90% of all XCOM players become scalies after just a single encounter with a viper and they're perfectly valid for that. the mods for this game feel like I'm injecting pure amphetamines directly into my bloodstream. I've always wanted to see how coach from left for dead 2 and Akihiko Sanada from persona 3 would fair in an alien invasion. e621/10.
very frustrating design philosophies, especially for new players, which makes you want to safe scum the ♥♥♥♥ out of it, because it throws situations at you you cannot overcome in a positive way, unless you know exactly what to do and what is going to happen. the timed missions only add to that, which force you to advance in a timely manner, which in turn make you do mistakes that are fatal. there is not much room for experimentation or mistakes. despite the game introducing you to loss even in the tutorial, the feeling of losing to cheap ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is the same as losing to cheap ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. and the rng. i get it, you win some you lose some. but more often than not, it doesnt feel like the ai plays by the same rules with everything else that is going on. the hub also just throws stuff at you, but you cant make educated descision on what is best to do next, which adds to the feeling of being inefficient and doing things wrong. all in all it is just an unfun experience for me, in which you try to work around and against the intended game design. that to me is a flawed design. i am no stranger to challenging games and genre alikes by any means. hell, i had more fun playing darkest dungeon for the first time than this. idk, i guess if you have the patience and are fine with frequent setbacks, you can eventually overcome all of the initial friction and negatives, it all comes with experience. but if i have the choice between a game i know is fun from the beginning and this, i know what i would choose.
War of the Chosen sublime encore l'expérience.
Amazing evergreen! After Zero Company (which is very shoort) I moved to Xcom 2 and this is huuuge
