Reviews
I really love this game but it has a nasty habit of waiting a few hours into a campaign to decide to screw you and your save file.
One of the best RTS games out there i always keep coming back to it even after all these years, shame there isn't a xcom 3
Great continuation of XCOM - IMO even better than the first in the series! - Engaging story that made each battle personal - Great variability via DLCs that add side-missions and more bosses - All the good stuff I liked in the first game - base building, tech tree using alien parts collected in missions, resource management, training team members, etc. But with new ideas that make it not just more of the same.
One of the worst tactical experiences you can have. Every strategy and tactical decision break and crash into wall of delusional seed hidden mechanic, which makes a percentage of anything a fraud, and graze mechanic that will follow you everywhere and open your squad to a full wipe due you're not being able to neutralise a single enemy in open field because you grazed it 3 times in a row
I'm pretty much gonna say the same thing as everyone else that loves RTS and Turn based Strategy games. If you like this kind of genre, fighting Aliens and mods from the workshop. You'll love this game.
Only game i've ever played that felt like I could actually lose.
