画风随机性都挺喜欢的,我是被局外成长劝退,升级到最高要局外钻石买,最便宜的600,最贵的1200,20层给100个折磨,漫长的肝肝,等你肝出塔的时候,已经没兴趣玩了
As the blurb says strategy, timing and fortune. Enjoying the ride that gets a little bit deeper each time I play it - at first I thought it might be a bit simplistic with only one play field, but I was totally wrong. The timing of your upgrades of towers, electricity and boss calls is crucial. You have no control over your initial tower purchases and how they upgrade, but this tends to make life more interesting.
It is the same level everytime, but RNG based progression. So you can only do so well every run. Visuals and style is great. Wish there were balance fixes and more variety. I can't recommend this in it's current state

This game is barebones. While the graphics are presentable, the content and gameplay feels haphazard and ill-considered. One of the game's core mechanics, spawning bosses at will, sounds like a great mechanic on paper. However, the red crystals they drop are completely useless unless you've gained access to the higher tier turret upgrades, which can only be unlocked after multiple playthroughs. Those playthroughs will definitely start feeling pretty samey after a while, as the game only includes a single map. Perhaps the game's greatest flaw is the lack of choice and tactical variety. You cannot choose what turrets you buy or what they upgrade into, and the enemies all function exactly the same, requiring no adaptation to adjust to. This makes the red crystals even more problematic, as you either have to get lucky with what your turrets merge into, or work hard enough to unlock max tier upgrades for all 4 of your turret lines, which I estimate would take at least a dozen games if you're playing well, or a few hours of gameplay. It's an idle game without any of the qualities idle games aspire to. Even the link to the developer's Discord was somehow broken the first time I played, despite the game launching on Steam less than a week ago. X Defense isn't a *bad* game, but it is a mindless one. There was room to add depth in areas like enemy behavior, map variety, upgrades, economy, etc. and pretty much all of those possibilities went unexplored. Currently, you can have some fun with it, but I wouldn't recommend buying it at its current pricepoint. If you can find it for $1.99 or less, though, it might make for a good time.
