I think I have never been so angry at a horrible game like this one. THIS GAME IS A LEGIT JOKE. If I start listing all of the issues, this review will take a decade to write. This game is a horrible and I mean HORRIBLE game. Animations are broken, models broken, levels long and broken (you can get stuck on the first level thus having to restart from the beginning), stupid cut scenes, the audio will make you deaf and etc. The fact that this game used to be 20 dollars, is just something. This game doesn't even deserve 1 EURO yet alone the 5 euros it's asking for now. SCREW THE DEVELOPER AND THIS GAME.
鼓励性好评,暂不推荐。chinese, Ach, cloud save?

A real blast with giant creatures and special effects! Every mission feels like Attack on Titan, only I get to be the hero. Wish I could be such a hero in real life!
Походить, побегать в игрушку можно, но не более за 21 рубль неплохая игра жаль оптимизация хромает.
Its better than Fortnite
X-17, developed by Panzer Gaming and published by Volens Nolens Games, is a science fiction shooter that aims to deliver a cinematic, action-heavy experience by combining elements of first-person and third-person gameplay. Set against the backdrop of an alien invasion and a mysterious structure known as the Obelisk, the game follows protagonist Mark Faroh as he becomes entangled in a conflict that spans multiple environments and dimensions. It’s an ambitious setup that suggests a large-scale adventure, complete with narrative cutscenes and a defined campaign, but while the scope is clear, the execution struggles to consistently support those ambitions. The gameplay revolves around relentless combat, with players moving through linear levels filled with waves of enemies. The ability to switch perspectives between first-person and third-person is one of the game’s defining features, offering a slight variation in how encounters are approached. In practice, however, this mechanic feels more like a surface-level addition than a transformative system, as the core shooting mechanics remain largely the same regardless of perspective. Gunplay is functional but lacks weight and precision, and enemy behavior tends to be repetitive, resulting in encounters that feel predictable after only a short time. What should be fast-paced and engaging gradually becomes monotonous due to limited variation in both enemy design and level structure. Visually, X-17 presents an interesting contrast. At a glance, the game appears relatively polished, with detailed environments, lighting effects, and cinematic aspirations that hint at a much larger production. There are moments where the scale of the environments and the use of visual effects create an impression of something more ambitious. However, this initial impact quickly fades as inconsistencies begin to surface. Animations can appear stiff, environmental assets don’t always blend naturally, and the overall presentation lacks a cohesive artistic direction. The result is a game that looks impressive in isolated frames but feels uneven when experienced as a whole. The narrative, while present throughout the campaign, never fully capitalizes on its premise. The ideas behind alien forces, interdimensional travel, and hidden truths offer a strong foundation, yet the storytelling remains underdeveloped. Dialogue and cutscenes attempt to build context, but they rarely create a meaningful connection to the characters or the stakes of the conflict. Instead of driving the experience forward, the story often feels secondary to the action, existing more as a framework than a compelling element in its own right. Technical shortcomings further affect the overall experience. Issues such as bugs, inconsistent physics, and occasional glitches can interrupt gameplay and break immersion. These problems, combined with the game’s uneven mechanics, reinforce the sense that X-17 lacks the level of polish expected from a fully realized title. The pacing also suffers, as repetitive encounters and straightforward level progression make it difficult for the game to maintain momentum over longer play sessions. That said, there are moments where the game’s underlying ideas show potential. The concept of blending perspectives, the attempt to create a cinematic shooter, and the scale of its environments all point to a developer with a clear vision. In certain segments—particularly during larger combat sequences or visually striking scenes—the game hints at what it could have achieved with more refinement and a stronger focus on cohesion. These glimpses of potential make the experience more intriguing than outright dismissible, even if they are not enough to carry the game as a whole. In the end, X-17 feels like a project that set its sights high but lacked the resources or polish to fully realize its goals. It delivers a functional shooter experience with occasional flashes of ambition, but it is held back by repetitive gameplay, inconsistent presentation, and technical issues that prevent it from standing out. For players curious about experimental or rough-around-the-edges indie shooters, it may offer some brief moments of interest, but for most, it will likely feel underwhelming compared to more refined entries in the genre.
