Important note before installing this game: THIS GAME IS NOT IN ENGLISH. THERE'S NO ENGLISH TEXT ANYWHERE WITHIN THE GAME. However this is not a problem. In fact i have been playing this game for the past 2 days off steam from the website without any problems. Review: This game is very similar to Blizzard Entertainment's Heartstone. But it's also about 5x times better. Despite the game not being in English, its very easy to understand what to do once you get the hang of it. When the game starts, the game will load up, at first it may seem like its taking forever to load up, but it will start to load fast. I got 13mbps. I have 250mpbs. Once the loading is completed, it will ask you enter a name, no spaces. Once you get pass that, the game is similar to a mobile game, you will see a pointer showing you what to do next, its basically a tutorial and you continue following the tutorial. Only one mode is unlock , you will notice that its against the AI. Pros+ Similar to Heartstone but better Less Challenging than Heartstone which is a plus. Maybe its just me but Heartstone is very challenging. Chinese/Mandarin Voices. This is a plus, and sorry if i offend anyone but Chinese language sounds better than English Beautiful Visuals Beautiful Art Great sound effects and voices Single player mode vs the AI. Despite being in full Chinese, its not too difficult to understand once you take the time to play more and learn it. AI isn't too challenging, even when you are about to lose you come back and win Plenty of different cards with cool special abilities Unlocking rewards Good story , yea i don't understand it , but it is entertaining Runs perfect at 60fps at 1920x1080. Cons- No English Support. Bottom line: Highly recommend game. Fun game-play, not too challenging. and if anyone has any trouble, there' is a staff member that can help in the forums. He is very friendly. And i guess i can help as well if i can. I do hope there English buttons are added soon, but keep the Chinese voice please.
This is a really good game that is actually not at all like Hearthstone. If I had to compare it to any game, it would be the excellent but sadly discontinued Might and Magic: Duel of Champions. There are three types of cards: Creature cards, Spell cards and Equipment cards. These are tied to one of five different colours corresponding to the Chinese elements: Wood, Water, Metal, Fire and Earth. Decks have a minimum of 40 cards, can include a maximum of 3 of the same card, and can be a single colour or a combination of any of the five colours. Here's the, very clever, catch. Like Hearthstone, you also have a 'Leader ability' which you can select when building your deck. However, your leader ability will be much worse the more different colours your deck includes. Single colour decks tend to have beneficial reusable abilities, dual colour decks tend to have single use abilities while decks with three colours or more will generally only have disadvantages to choose from such as being able to play only one card a turn, damaging one of your units by 1 at the start of each turn or only being able to play 1 of each card in your deck rather than the usual 3. The cards themselves are cleverly designed as well. Cards automatically attack the spot opposing them, or the enemy leader if the spot opposing them is empty. This may seem like it limits design space but in fact it opens up room for a LOT of positioning related abilities and also allows many creatures to have activated abilities. The abilities are extremely diverse. Some, like Charge, will be familiar to those who have played games Hearthstone while others will be completely different. There is for example an ability which allows a creature attacking an enemy creature to deal extra damage to the opponent depending on how much its attack is higher than the opposing creatures attack (sort of like an attack-based MtG Trample ability). Unfortunately many of these abilities are fairly hard to translate and explain as the game is off course, entirely in Chinese. The game is generous in terms of what free cards it gives you as well. You can get free stuff both through story mode duels as well as puzzles and there is a large number of quests and achievements. It is entirely possible to play it entirely F2P although buying cards is really cheap in comparison to western CCGs as well due to the Chinese pricing. Add to that a large number of game modes: Practice, Ranked, Puzzles, Arena and Tournaments to name a few and this game is well, well worth a recommendation.

Ok, this is what I think about this game; Is it fun? It is, but here's the thing, I see most reviews claming that this is better than Hearthstone, and although everyone has their opinion, it's a stupid thing to say, here's why; - Hearthstone gives you freedom, you place a card, and attack what you want, here, you attack cards in front of eachother, unless by some effect it can target other things, so in this aspect, it's not better, it's easier for the casual player. - The fact that this has no english version cuts down a lot of the fun, yes, you can see a lot of effects of some cards in the tutorial, and that might guide people, but overall cuts down any chances to make a deck, unless you understand Chinese. - Again, you play by sense, hoping a card does something you want it to do and hope it doesn't ♥♥♥♥ your game plan. For now, this game get's a pass, simply because of the lack of english language. The fact the devs decided to launch this into steam without a english version, it's sad, because even tho a lot of steam's userbase is not from a english speaking country, most if not all use english as their language when it comes to online games. Typical mobile card game, might try it if the devs have the decency to put english in the game.
For those who can read Chinese, this is a strong recommendation. This is the first CCG that I actually enjoy playing (tried Hearthstone but didn't work out). Maybe because of the oriental characters that I can relate to. Maybe because the game is pretty easy to pick up and pretty satisfying to explore. First impression, I have had fun. Now, being a free-to-play game means that there are micro-transactions. Very much like Hearthstone I guess whereby you can buy decks. And they are pretty transparent on the "heavenly" card drop rate. You can buy "gold nuggets" using real money (it seems). And you can earn "ancient coins" while playing. Needless to say, "gold nuggets" seem to be a more valued currency in game. Also, there are daily login incentives too, like many f2p games these days. I don't read simplied Chinese well and unfortunately there is no traditional Chinese option (because I can read traditional Chinese much better). But I can sort of guess what the cards do. For those who don't read Chinese and hope that you can learn the game while playing, I really don't think that is possible. Keeping it real here.
I thought it was another crappy CCG games, and it turns out a guite deep and fun game. It is good to know all those Chinese gods. Like it. Give it a try.
there seems to be some huge connection issues which are known but there is no fix out - yet. i paid small amounts of cash, had to contact them by email 4/5 times because i didnt receive anything but cash was taken, this was steams fault tho as they have problems with transactions between foreign countries such as china. (i got compensated but still steam should fix their sh*t) writing this after getting my 6th disconnect for today which also prevents logging back on for like 10-20mins, usually, latest gave me disconnect over hour ago - still unable to pass the steam icon... can only imagine the effort it takes for small company to release something overseas. yet still after those major negative things, i give the game a thumbs up since im positive the connection issues will be fixed eventually. other than those, when your able to play the game with no interruptions, its way better than most CCGs out there, AND its not an p2w unlike most of them are. many thanks for the dev team for this game! EDIT: After 2 months and no attempt to fix the errors people are having and only adding some minor things in latest patches im giving it an thumbs down, doesnt deserve thumbs up when they know people are suffering from connection issues and other errors yet no actual fixes are brought out. PS: my connection is fine, no interruptions or connection issues in other games, i play with PS4 and laptop & desktop with 100mb fiber connection & roughly 200games requiring online connection, only on this 1 i get errors.
