Games been disappointing so far chaotic tho. Controls are dumbed down and I skipped training. spam hit grapple stomp repeat till special. In the process your characters will flail around for 30-50% of it. Submission just drain energy even after 1-2 mins hold no tap out. matches can end unexpectedly to unknown stoppage or elimination leading to loss. Training works sometimes telling you to smash buttons but its not read like that so you might not gain anything id suggest sparring. Pinning can damn near feel broken id rather be in a last man standing because you can hit a finisher on red bar and they still get up. throw the whole kitchen sink they still get up. Between the fun and tedious bs id suggest buying wwe on sale atp. I like the multiple leagues, real people and dialogue but theirs more bad then good

WR3D mod took this game to a whole new level and I really enjoyed it but I uninstalled the game after a while and today I decided I wanted to try it again but the game is completely unplayable now except for sparring with Coach Emerson. When I try to select a wrestler from my lists in either the gameplay mode or editing the roster my cursor turns into one of the names and the entire name will move across the screen as my cursor and I can't select anything and it won't exit without alt tab. I've reinstalled and checked integrity. I don't know if it got corrupted when I reinstalled or if the newest update is no longer compatible with the mod. I'll look into it later when I get more information. Otherwise I am a fan of this game and I hope I can get these issues resolved.

Want to experience an MDickie game for a bit less money than Wrestling Empire, pick this one up. The gameplay is just as chaotic and addictive as Wrestling Empire with a bit more jank than it's successor. This is an excellent wrestling title!

So I create my guy and start my career in the WWF (modded). The first thing that happens is Stephanie asks me how Earl Hebner is doing as a ref. Having not had a single match yet, I tell her he's fine and we should keep him. I didn't realize that me saying this would start my career as a tag team with Earl. Well, in our first tag match, I accidentally hit Earl, who gets p!ssed off and leaves. I was still able to win the match. In my next match as a single, I go for my first pin, and Earl, who is reffing, decides he's going to slow count me in that match, and every other match for the next few months (outside of the few tag matches that I had against him and his new partner Big Show). There may be some jank in this game, but it's far more entertaining than the current WWE2K series. I bounced off this game at first, but I'm glad I gave it another shot and stuck with it. Just make sure when you sign your first contract that you get Creative Control, otherwise Steph could dress you like Sin Cara and change your name to Dennis Stevenson.
