Love the game! It's similar enough to other racing games to feel familiar and doesn't take much to get used to the dynamics. But it is unique enough to be a lot of fun. The crash dynamics are a great part of the game. Whether you like 'mostly' clean racing or like the smashup derby, you'll have a great time!

Habe das Spiel seit ein paar Jahren und Zocke es mit dem G29 Plus H Schaltung, aber in der letzten Zeit einfach nicht mehr Spiel bar.
Wreckfest - хорош! Физика хороша, машин много и они интересные, гонок и всеелыз активностей хватает. Вообще мне очень понравилось, рекомендую фанатам жанра. :)

Although now outdated due to Wreckfest 2. Wreckfest is one of the better racing games when it comes to car driving feel and handling. It has some flaws, but when compared to some of the newer games it marries damage well with everything else. The cars are good, the damage is cool, the customization is fun and silly although limited, and it can be a wild ride once you join public servers. It is also enjoyed well with friends and if you have enough of them you can have your own races or derbies. It can also be enjoyed entirely solo, but be warned, just like in real life, most people can't drive or corner to save their lives and don't know how to use their brakes. The graphics are decent and the damage effects are some of the best I've seen. Yes, some damage is entirely unrealistic, but no game gets it right. The only real downside is there is no place to just race without getting corner bombed or run off the track into a wall. Once you're crashed out you either need to quit or wait for the rest of the race to end. I get it, that is a mechanic in the game so all is fair in love and war. Sometimes you just want to drive against other drivers and the clock and not have to worry about the oncoming school bus looking to send you to oblivion. Other times you want to be the school bus.
