About

Piece together haunting, centuries-old medical illustrations and uncover the story of a being stitched together from humanity’s darkest curiosities.
Each puzzle is more than an image - it is a fragment of something greater.
Search carefully. Hidden within every puzzle are secrets waiting to be uncovered: elaborate collections, alternate paths, strange mini-games, and fragments of a story that refuses to stay buried.
Curiosity is rewarded. Completion is not guaranteed.
Wound Man is not whole.
His body has been scattered, his past obscured, and the one he loved has faded from existence.
By uncovering hidden truths and assembling what was torn apart, you may yet restore what time has erased.
But some things are not meant to return unchanged.
Beyond the puzzles lies a deeper obsession.
Uncover over 170 strange and unsettling artifacts, each hidden within the fabric of the game’s anatomical worlds. From peculiar creatures to forgotten instruments, every discovery expands your Cabinet of Curiosity, a growing archive of the bizarre and the macabre.
Some are easy to find.
Others demand patience, precision… or something more.
Completion is not required.
But for those who seek to understand everything, the Cabinet holds many truths.
Handcrafted anatomical puzzles inspired by real historical medical art
Multiple gameplay modes for both relaxed play and deeper challenge
Hidden secrets in every puzzle, including mini-games and narrative fragments
A dark, symbolic storyline told through discovery and reconstruction
Collectibles and curiosities to uncover and catalogue
Original soundtrack of haunting, atmospheric compositions
Steam achievements for those who seek full completion
Whether you prefer a meditative experience or a more demanding challenge, Wound Man adapts to your pace:
Casual Mode – A more relaxed journey through the imagery and story
Challenge Mode – Greater complexity for those who seek mastery
Special Modes – Replayable variations with unique constraints and twists
Wound Man is a tulpa, an entity born from thought, given form through centuries of anatomical illustration.
Once a tool of knowledge for surgeons and scholars, he has endured endless suffering in silence.
Yet he is not alone.
A presence once bound to him, now lost to time and obscurity, lingers at the edge of memory.
Through your actions, her fragments may be found… and perhaps, restored.

cool game
So far, this game is very enjoyable. The narration is great, the soundtrack is very neat and I generally love the art style. The gameplay is very relaxing and just putting together a couple of levels for an hour or two at a time has been a great way for me to pass the time.
This game is like no other, the art is stunning and the puzzles are quite original. The developer is highly active and answer to everyone having issue or question. A unique gem in a sea of games.
If Grey's Anatomy and Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley's Frankenstein had an illicit love-child you would have Wound Man. Experience a tale as old as time; a medical cadaver longs for his one true love and only you can reunite them through the passion of Renaissance era androtomy and the romance of viscera. You don't need to know anatomy & physiology to harness the power of love to bisection their affection. At it's alchemical root it is a puzzle game of oddities & curiosities, but what seems to be a casual game on the surface can quickly turn into a challenging game of Operation on one hand and sadistic time trials on the other, all the while paying acute attention to every single spoken word to find clues and hidden secrets to unlock the true ending. This is clearly a passion project by the developer and it's a worthy of nomination for the Steam Award for "Outstanding Visual Style". Plays well on Linux and should be Steam Deck Verified.
A great and unique puzzle game that can be a little challenging but never feels impossible. Every level has Casual, Challenge, and Special modes, each with its own secrets. The game is a bit buggy right now, but the developer is actively pushing out patches and responding to bug reports and suggestions on the Steam forums.
Got a few hours on the game now and I love how this game mixes puzzle solving with teaching about the human anatomy. Wound man is not just your average puzzle game. Its a journey through the concept of wound man as he takes you to different levels all depicting different aspects of the human body and their complexity. You can travel on this journey casually with the casual levels, or if you prefer a challenge try the challenge and special levels, which add a twist on how you complete the puzzle. And don't even get me started on the secrets you can find. The game goes above and beyond with different side quests to motivate you to find each secret within each level. So if you're a perfectionist then this game is for you as well. That being said, I have noticed a few bugs with the game, where in some of the secret puzzles, my mouse glitches out and I can't interact with anything and have to restart the game. And a frustrating one where on the end puzzle of the challenge levels I'm at 99% and the last piece hasn't spawned in whcich is annoying since I can clearly see where it goes. With a bit more polish on certain aspects of the game, I believe wound man can become one of the best puzzle games this year.
This is a very excellent puzzle game - if you enjoy anatomy, art history, and stabbing people with swords this is the game for you!!!! Very relaxing, and when you unlock manuscripts you get some educational content too. I adore this game! Unexpectedly it also has some plot as you reunite Wound Man himself with his Lady from beyond the veil. The secrets in every level are always really satisfying to find, often with some macabre humour (make the Wound Man's lungs pop to get a secret prize for example), lots of blood and fun!
Really fun macabre puzzle game
