The World War began in August 1914. It is now March 1964, and war still wages on. The Russian October Revolution has taken place, but the Bolsheviks were crushed by the mad Baron Ugenberg. He plans to build a huge Russo-Mongolian empire that stretches from the Atlantic to Vladivostok, crushing any opposition in his wake.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Sep 2 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Meh. Get only if you feel nostalgia for it.
Iron Storm but in first person.
Perhaps the first and so far only Alt-History LARP in a video game.

its a remake from the iron storm. much easier, better graphics and some new feature and type of enemy.
Old school FPS that's still alright.
Remember playing this back in the day. Played San Andreas a lot and one day my friend gave me his copy of this game and I played it until completion. During that time i kind of completely forgot about GTA (even though it was for 2 days). The combat is somewhat satisfying and punchy. The AI is nothing to write home about and neither are the graphics. What is interesting about the game is its weird cuts and repackaging from the original PC release. So now the story makes even less sense. Absolutely the most interesting thing is the setting. Some of the enemy and weapon design along with surrendering and suicide by grenade enemies are what make this game more ambitious than it turned out to be. Unfortunately that is where the good stuff ends and we go to mediocre and bad territory. The story, even though it is interesting, does not utilize the setting at all. It is kind of like the developers had a great concept and nobody competent enough to write something decent. So in the end the games story is largely forgetable. Difficulty is on the easy side regardless of the setting. Much of the game is linear with some good side pasages on certain levels. The mission structure and the maps are simple. Most of the time you will guess what to do based on where you find enemies but sometimes there are switces or things need to be done in a certain order. Overall the game is okay, you can complete it in less than 4 hours so it doesn't overstay its welcome. The enemies have some variety and there is also a large number of weapons for such a short game. Get it on sale
This game is no doubt a classic, but it's not popular like Return To Castle Wolfenstein or some old Call Of Duty, it's a fun shooter to kill time, here is what i liked and didn't like. --- PROS --- - Somewhat interesting lore - Fine arsenal of weapons - Gameplay Bonus point for nostalgia --- CONS --- - Lack of some info (If you didn't play Iron Storm you will have trouble understanding some things) - Ammo (You just probably won't run out of ammo because it's everywhere) - Weapons (Game won't force you into using all of your weapons and so it's just only using 2-4 guns the entire game) I would like to mention that this game is pretty short, you could speedrun it in 30-50 minutes, complete it in 3 hours and complete it in 5 hours if you do everything slowly. World War Zero may not appeal to everyone because of personal choices, but overall it's a game that you could play if you are bored or something...
If Iron Storm (Peak) was Remade into a PS2 game...And thats not a good thing. Its like Pepsi Iron Storm. Will i play it and beat it? probably. but this is not a good game. yeah you dont have to be mindful of what weapons you need because you can carry it all it seems, and it gives you The RPG and Grenade Launcher right before or as you get into Wolfenburg. and its way more piss easy and on the rails compared to Iron Storm. Theres little to no Stealth iv seen, Granted Iron Storms Stealth was ass anyways but you could do it for some parts. Theres more Cutscenes than Iron Storm and even "Bosses" where as There was just some Tanks/Heli or even the Rocket Guys from iron storm where you would need like 2 or 3 nades to kill them. You really dont have to think with this game. just walk and shoot. Just move to an area you havent been to yet and you will get to the obj. overall just play Iron Storm if you are looking for a Tactical Shooter that makes you think how to get around encounters, Play this if you want mindless mod killing.
As someone who enjoyed the original Iron Storm back when it came out, I can say that this version of the game is neither an upgrade or a downgrade. Its more an "Alternate Version." I very much enjoyed the original, but it was a very Janky game with serious bugs and glitches. Some of which soft locked progression. The difficulty spikes were due to overpowered AI, hit detection issues, and bad damage control. It could be agonizingly frustrating at times. The Gunplay was poor. The weapons behaved badly. The Ai was stupid, yet difficult. Beating it was an exercise in patience. But I am patient, and I have a weird interest in Janky games. But what made me like the game the most was its really unique atmosphere and approach to its world. It was a very ambitious game. It had interesting plot points and level designs that tried to do new things. World War Zero corrects almost every flaw from Iron Storm. The gunplay now is satisfying. Progression is fluid. Its actually pretty darn fun to play. But in correcting all the flaws, it also lost some of the charm and ambition the original game had. Later levels that had puzzle solving and complex progression are now linear and simple. Several sections of the orignal game are completley removed. It is now a run and gun till the end. It is also much shorter as a result (beat it in under 4 hours, where iron storm took over 8). They also changed some plot elements. There is a serious lack of the charm that made me like the original. But this is a much easier to play game. I didn't have any notable glitches on my playthrough. This is probobaly the version I recomend to people. But I think I like the original more. Its a flawed, but ambitious game. This version is less flawed, but also less ambitious, and therefore a little plain. But for $5, its a great time.
