WWII GI is the invasion of Normandy. The paranoia. The fear. the intensity that was D-Day. You will experience it first hand.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 25 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Bad, really really bad. I know it's a game from the 90s, but that does not excuse this game when SOO many other great FPS games came out even before this one. NAM was bad enough, but this is far worse. Again dying wayyyyyyy to quickly, randomly exploding far too often, running out of ammo and they never give you any, the BAR literally doesn't work/damage enemies and half the time you can't even see the enemies that are beaming you across the map in 2-3 shots from full health. I wanted to like this as it's a WW2 build engine game (really cool), but it's just a very unplayable, unfair and messy game. Steer clear.
I got this on sale, full disclosure, and I would not bother doing so unless you are a die-hard Build engine fan. If you do get this, or NAM: -USE EDUKE. The controls for this are Byzantine by today's standards, mouselook is not default, and the game looks very choppy running on DOSbox. -Save early, save often. The difficulty is through the roof. -Keep a backup save, as the game loves to pull nasty one-hit-kill surprises. -You have two health meters, essentially, and one is Morale, which affects your accuracy and damage. Essentially, getting attacked/hit lowers your morale. You can refill it with certain items or when you heal yourself with bandages (which you need to stay still to do or you waste them. Healing is slow and not at all like the Duke 3D medkit.) Only for diehards.

Let me make Clear that i normaly dont like writting negative reviews and i really wanted to like this game, but lets start from the beginning. Wolrd War II GI is a shooter that is brutaly unforgiving meaning you die really really quickly and that would be finde if it was going for realism ,be fair in that aspect and or also have easier difficulties but that isnt the case. already in the first level of the first chapter you notice that its RND (luck) if you can even get to that damn wall or above it , depending if the ai targets you, how many of them, and how accurate and much they shoot you, you can either make it unscratched or die in less than 1 second and dying in an instant is almost a theme in this game as a single soldier can obliterate you in that short of a time. you are always short on ammo too. why?; your default weapon is very innacurate, the damage it does varries ,the ennemies DROP AMMO for the MP40 but your charachter only picks up the enemy ammo not their weapon for some reason often leaving you out of ammo and defenseless , the platoon leader expension wants you to defend a base in one of its missions with only 90 rounds of m16 ammo,30 bullets of handgun ammo. 4 grenades that your guy throws less than 20 feet away, no ammo to pick up, (enemy ammo you cant use) ai team mates that dont really do much and also dont drop ammo when they die, no health pick ups,and enemies by the 100s you cannot see most of the time. this isnt fun and sounds bad and most levels feel like this and have that degree of fairness and again you cant make it easier for yourself, the difficulty settings basicaly change almost nothing
This game was published a year after NAM in 1999 and it somehow managed to be worse than NAM. While NAM's deficiencies as a video game can be brushed off as NAM being a charming Vietnam War PTSD simulator, the same cannot be said about WWII GI. The game starts with Normandy landings if I recall correctly. You die over and over without reaching your goal. This is not fun. The rest of the game is more of senseless and purposeless dying and there is no sense of satisfaction in success either. There is no WWII heroic experience. NAM had some legitimate atmosphere and charm to compensate for the often atrocious game play, but WWII GI has none.
♥♥♥♥ THE CONTROL.

If you're collecting Build games to play on Raze or GDX, this is a welcome addition. It's by now means the best game ever, but it's not all that bad, and if you catch it on a generous sale, it won't even hurt like that.
This game is completely ridiculous. To start with, playing it without the Raze Engine app is a non-starter. War is hell, and they truly mean it. The enemies in this game are world-class snipers, seemingly enjoying themselves as they lie in wait for you to peek from a corner, ready to blow your head off in an instant. I love this game, knowing that it is going to give me PTSD. I am determined to beat it, though. Somehow. Great game.
More difficult and polished than Nam/Napalm. For some reason it bugs out with wasd. If you shift your wasd over to esdf, use right click for either jump or crouch. There is a terrific game here you have to pry it out and once its going the old school cannot be matched.
DOOM风复古射击游戏,从头杀到尾,画面很简洁,打击感很清爽。对于想体验这款游戏的玩家,强烈推荐下载并通过eDuke32进入。不要用Raze否则一些武器没有伤害
