World of Subways 4 – New York Line 7

I played it with my windows sadly I cant play it with the MacBook

My name is Earl,and I was a motorman and I drove this train for 7 years,an it reminds me when I worked for NYC transit. It is so real,like I was back on the job,I hope you enjoy this game/simulator as I do.

Honestly I believe this is the best World of Subways game, although sadly that doesn't mean much. But the game is surprisingly decent if you keep yourself to doing shifts and avoid the missions. Back in 2015 horror games were trendy in YouTube and TML tried to capitalize on that, but those silly missions sort of gave the game a bad reputation which might have been enough for them to pull the plug on the series. Shame because I think this was a somewhat solid base to continue working over it. I like the novelty of making a period game, especially in a rather convulted period of New York's history. Perhaps my biggest complaints are rather poor behavior of the passengers and lack of AI trains on the N and W platforms of Queensboro Plaza. They did non-playable traffic in WoS 3 so I wish they did that too in this game as well. I also noticed AI trains not changing their lights when reversing at terminal stations. But overall it's still pretty enjoyable to play. A full local trip from end to end is over 40 minutes, even less if you play the express service.

Ich habe es noch nicht lange aber bisher macht es echt was her Fangen wir mal bei den positiven Sachen an : + schöne Line 7 in NYC im Style der 70er / 80er Jahre mit langen Hochbahnstrecken + deutlich verbesserte Grafik zu WoS 3 + möglichkeit Express oder Local services zu fahren + erstmals erweiterte Wetter-Einstellungen mit Nebel, Sturm und Schnee + sehr detaillierter R33 / R36 "Redbird" Zug passend zur Epoche + gute KI fahrer die im Gegensatz zu manchen vorgänger WoS deutlich realistischer wirken + Das interaktive Depot ist wirklich gelungen + wirklich kreative und teilweise spannende Missionen für die fortgeschrittenen U-Bahn Fahrer und jetzt kommen wir zu den paar wenigen negativen Punkten... - Die KI Menschen sind alles andere als intelligent, denn sie laufen häufig erstmal 2 Minuten planlos am Bahnsteig umher bis sie sich dann doch entscheiden einzusteigen - Beim Türen schließen ruckelt das Game leider immer ein Wenig - Ich hätte mir gewünscht, dass man auch nur Conductor ( Schaffner ) sein kann und es einen KI Fahrer gibt - bei Regen fällt der Regen doch gerne mal in unseren Führerstand ;) Aber insgesamt ist es echt zu empfehlen gerade für die, die mal Bock haben auf der New Yorker Subway zufahren

I like driving subways but this is the biggest POS I have ever played. WOS 3 is much better

[EN] While the game is a bit outdated and simplistic, its still a lot of fun to play. The trains are fun to drive, the missions are interesting and diverse, the route is nicely done and has lots of local and express trains driving around so it never feels empty. Also i had 0 crashes yet with my mediocre PC. Only annoying thing is that it resets the mission/sets you back to the depot when you speed a bit to much in a curve. But overall, i would say its a nice little game if you like driving (subway) trains on a busy route. [DE] Das Spiel ist zwar etwas veraltet und simpel, macht aber trotzdem viel Spaß. Die Züge lassen sich gut fahren, die Aufgaben sind interessant und abwechslungsreich, und die Strecke ist schön gestaltet mit vielen Zügen (sowohl "Local" als auch "Express" ) unterwegs, sodass sie gefühlt nie leer wirkt. Bisher hatte ich mit meinem mittelmäßigen PC auch noch keine Abstürze. Einziger nerviger Punkt ist, dass die Mission zurückgesetzt wird bzw. man im Depot landet, wenn man in einer Kurve etwas zu schnell fährt. Insgesamt würde ich aber sagen, es ist ein nettes kleines Spiel, wenn du gerne (U-Bahn-)Züge auf einer belebten Strecke fahren möchtest.
