World Fighting Soccer 22

Please just let me switch between my players PLEASE

This game would be *almost* amazing if it weren't for the teammate switching mechanic. Switching teammates is proximity based so it'll switch to the more forward player on your team when you're close enough and what feels like prematurely since you're still holding left/right on the controls. So as a result, you switch to the forward teammate, who runs forward while you lose control of the teammate with the ball, so it's stolen by the opponent. In theory you could just pass the ball to the next teammate but sometime you gotta just slide the ball past the opponent blocker, and then you just lose it because you no longer have control of the right teammate. If teammate switching was smoother or more manual, game would be very cool. There's also no settings in game so you have to control sound via Windows, and there's not rebinding or fine-tuning any mechanics.

No controller rebinding support, terrible switching of active player, terrible UI to dictate the action Refund, what a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ shame

[b]I’m not exactly sure what to say here. This game is not very fun, and you should consider it at least a little suspicious when you see lots of [u]positive[/u] reviews saying how fun the game is when they never play more than 30 minutes. That’s not even one evening couch session with friends.[/b] One positive thing I can say about World Fighting Soccer 22 is that the game has more mechanical depth than Melko Game Club’s [url=https://steamcommunity.com/id/ShynyMagikarp/recommended/2344240/][i]other game[/i][/url]. Unfortunately, it’s not enough to make it good, and may actually even be a slight negative. A lack of real tutorial or practice mode really makes the additional complexity hard to adjust to. In fact, there’s not much at all here. There’s an exhibition type mode, and an arcade tournament type mode. Truthfully, they are little different because when you lose in the 2nd round of the tournament, you need not start over. But it won’t matter much because you will get your ass handed to you on repeat the first 10 games you play. The game is hard, and the training mode, besides showing you the controls (there’s no menu for this in-game. In fact, there’s no menu [b][i]at all[/i][/b]) doesn’t help you. Juggling the ball and keeping possession is not the hardest thing to learn, but the fundamental aspect of switching players being based around proximity means you constantly run away from the ball when the game auto switches you to the next player. It’s incredibly frustrating, and there’s no way around it. There’s no volume settings, resolution settings, no difficulty settings, no customization, and just overall a lack of virtually anything. There are many teams. Do they really make a difference? Uhm.. a little I guess? Not much. Sadly I don’t see the draw here, maybe I just suck real bad lol. I’ve not played another arcade soccer-like game on Steam better, especially at this price. But you should take that with a grain of salt because it’s not due to this game’s quality, it’s beause I’ve played little arcade-style soccer games on Steam. I am pretty confident there are tons of options, and one of them has to be better. [b]4.5/10[/b]

this game is absolute assssssssss. Grumps made it look super fun, but actually trying to play is absolutely unbearable. Very little effort has gone into this, clearly. money-grab. super sucks, don't bother.
