Look at games in acc of reviewers. and some of the reviews received game for free. almost nobody in reviews played it more than 1 hr This game has 6 mini games 3 of them are a complete waste could be fun with friends. Was definitely worth the play. Sadly, I didn't have friends to play this with...so I played with the AI and it was very challenging because the AI would gang up on you more than the others, lol. Regardless I had a lot of fun with this game and it is definitely worth a try and a great family game. but it does feels like you would get a week of enjoyment out of it because there are only 6 different mini games. So I am hoping they expend more on some modes to keep it fresh and new for players.

This game is published and developed by A Bonfire of Souls, a pretty new studio from Spain and a big thanks to the team for providing a review key for me to check this out. Wizards Tourney starts off with a short story explaining the events of how this tournament came to be. A powerful elite force takes over the old tournament and a rogue group of wizards from all around decide to start their own tournament to show off who is the best wizard in all the lands. The story serves as nothing more than a brief introduction into the world of the game and it would have been nice to see it fleshed out more. To participate in the tournament, you get your choice of 1 of 12 different types of wizards ranging from a classic merlin style to a wicked witch, genie, necromancer, and much more. All of the wizards play the same with no advantages or disadvantages and serve only as a cosmetic choice. After choosing your wizards, you are given the opportunity to explore the arena where you can choose to play 1 of 6 different minigames with the other wizards or go to the center where you can begin the tournament. You also have the option to establish the number of rounds that you wish to play just below. The 6 minigames include a pumpkin chase game called Pumpkin King which plays like a Tag game. Then you have Mad Lab which is a 4 way soccer game filled with crazy physics and traps. Ice Slide is a simple game of balance where you try to push other players off the iceberg. Ray Fray has players on a platform trying to collect as many orbs as possible why avoiding projectiles. Dragon Eggplosion tasks players with stealing eggs from a firebreathing dragon and dodging obstacles. and Pot a Potion conjures up a hearty dose of alchemy and trickery. The graphics and presentation are simple but well done. There aren't any bloated and confusing menus and the UI is kept nice and clean. The areas for each mini game have a great cartoony appearance and standout among each other yet still feel like they belong in this setting. The animations are basic but lend themselves well to the overall look. The only real complaint I have here is that sometimes the camera is zoomed out too far in some of the games, so unless you're playing on a large screen you may lose what's going on. As is the case for similar party games, they live or die based on the quality and variety of the games. With the notable exception of Mad Lab, I feel that Wizard's Tourney does an excellent job on the quality front. Each of the minigames feel well balanced and fine tuned and have very addictive qualities to them. I particularly felt that the Pumpkin King game was the strongest of the lineup since the basic premise of tag with the use of various pumpkins and gourds as weapons kept me hooked and even outside of the tourney I dived in for a few separate games of this. Ice Slide has arguably the easiest to learn mechanics and is a great starting point for newcomers yet has just enough complexities on its own to also hook you in. Pot a Potion can be a lot of fun with friends but the CPU is very challenging and vicious here. Dragon Eggplosion is a frantic game that goes by almost in an instant but has a lot of variables to mix it up. Ray Fray is a game that at first doesn't have much going on for it but throwing in the complexities of using your orbs that you need to stun enemies as well as avoiding the lasers made it a riot to play. Mad Lab is the only weak minigame in the package and that is because it just doesn't feel as fun, simple, and refined as the rest. The physics are very wild and unforgiving, aiming your energy sphere isn't as precise as I would have liked, and the AI is ridiculous on their skill level. It seemed that I could only win by things going right for me, and with the way the powerups and traps are set it just feels a little too random. And though I feel the minigames have a lot of great qualities to them overall, I feel that there could perhaps be at least a few more to really round out the package. As far as the tourney, I think playing 6 games is great but if more were added they could allow players the ability to choose the games or have an option to randomly select them. Also some options to maybe tweak some of the rules and settings for each of the games can really add a lot even if the game remains at the 6 with no games being added at post launch, but I would love to see some support for this. The sounds and music are pretty good but sparse. Musical loops are fairly short and loop frequently but fortunately the minigames are short enough that it doesn't get too annoying doing an occassional play session. There are some extras available to learn more about the other wizards to give them a little flavor but outside of this and some animations during character selection or victory screens there isn't a whole lot going on about that. Overall if you're a fan of party games I certainly recommend Wizard's Tourney. You can use services like Parsec to play online if you have difficulites getting friends to come over and when it launches on the PS4 you can consider using shareplay to play with friends. There is also a neat share a controller feature that allows 2 players to use one controller. This works quite well since all of the games only use 1 analog stick and 1 button. The game works best with human players but the AI offer a decent challenge to make things interesting. Due to the lack of available minigames though I am not sure if it's the kind of game I would recommend for those that prefer to play alone, unless you enjoy playing simple but addictive minigames. Wizard's Tourney is a 7.5 out of 10 overall as it is a very polished game with top tier gameplay but gets dragged down a bit by the sparseness of the offering. Hacía mucho que no jugaba un juego de minijuegos. Jugué Wizards Tourney en un evento al que lo llevaron los desarrolladores antes de estar terminado y me recordó mucho al Crash Bash, un juego similar al que pasé muchas horas jugando con mis amigos. He estado jugando por Parsec y no va mal, aunque sería mejor que tuviera un modo online propio.

Уважаемые разработчики - для такой игры просто необходим кооперативный режим на РАЗНЫХ компьютерах. Если вы его сделаете - будет очень забавное развлечение для дружеских компаний. НО, на данный момент - ни в коем случае не рекомендую покупать за полную цену. 24 рубля, за которую ее приобрел я - действительно красная цена. С ботами побегать было прикольно, так как искусственный интеллект в некоторых испытаниях достаточно интересно себя ведет. Всего в игре 7 мини-игр, некоторые интересные, некоторые не очень. Есть режим "Турнира", где они все идут подряд, ключевой элемент этой игры. Внимание - вы не сможете поиграть с друзьями в эту игру обычным способом. Здесь нет как таковых онлайн лобби. Сколько мы не пытались пригласить друг друга - ничего не выходило. Вам придется приглашать друзей С ГЕЙМПАДОМ через Remote Play, о чем справедливо стоит дисклеймер. Вы даже не можете настроить кнопки управления как для себя, так и для друзей. В других играх есть возможность, например, поставить одному игроку управление на стрелки, и действие на пробел, а другому WASD и Enter - и люди спокойно могли играть на одной клавиатуре, через тот же Remote Play. Здесь такого, увы, нет. И два игрока с "клава-мышью" играть вместе не могут. Ставлю дизлайк исключительно из-за этого - потенциал у игры есть, жаль только такой элементарный аспект все еще не введен в игру. А так - игра весьма неплохая, особенно за 24 рубля, на вечер-другой в хорошей компании, если сможете найти друзей с геймпадами.
