[h1]A sweet, heartfelt game that resonate deeply with me specifically[/h1] I'll be honest, I did not mean this review to be a glazing fest for team behind it but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, there were so many emotions I felt when playing the game. I thoroughly enjoy it to the very bottom of my heart. The game opens with the longing to escape into a fantasy world and being ridicule for it. You played as Reese, a [strike]man[/strike] woman who like yuri. All trans people had been through a period of themselves hiding their desire, their real self, the unthinkable idea of, 'I just really want to be this, but I do not know why', an egg period basically. And they are so afraid of being call a pervert for it that they have to be ashamed for it. And the fact that Lucy is acting out the nightmare scenario that I have feared for so long was so real, I had a mini-panic and my heart sunk to the pint I wasn't breathing. It was the beat that hit the hardest. But then the "curse" hit, and it's weird, it's new, it's.... it's cathartic, it's like all those years so self-hatred, anger and living like dreaming in a nightmare are just... gone. Reese felt, [b][u]I[/u][/b] felt like I was myself. To say I lived through Reese's story when playing the game was an understatement. I always thought to myself, why wake up when you hate yourself, why bother dressing up when your body is ugly from the very core, why keep trying when you are never in love with yourself. Then Lucy just... want her to be happy, despite it all, despite the circumstances, despite being the one who pretend to be Chunni and act all crazy and confident to Reese yet still want her to be happy because Reese is radiant incredibly beautiful. The ending was such a good contrast to the yuri moth vn that Reese has been reading. Both the story ended right at the moment of the two lovers realized how much they meant for the other person, but one ends in forever being happy and it's a stunningly amazing ending for such a short game. [hr][/hr] Just wanna mention that I love Lucy autism rep too, and being dismiss as being too much, too emotional, too dramatic or too "wallflower" is so real, experiencing it daily is always a pain.
