About
Four people are sent to retrieve corpses at a base in the mountainside.
Three return.
Winter Hubris is a point-and-click, escape room game where you play as Richard, a man who gets stranded in an abandoned research facility while retrieving corpses, and must survive with your limited resources until your team comes back for you.
But he isn't alone.
A terrible "disease" eats away at Richard day by day, and you must manage its spread while keeping your hunger and sanity in check. Explore the base while you can, and scavenge for resources before Richard starves, goes insane, or becomes one with the fester.
This game features:
A body horror toggle that allows you to censor the body horror
Multiple endings

Dog🐶 and Richard = Best buddies.
I am not a fan of visual novels and yet I found the game very enjoyable. Its a fun 2 hour adventure for those who enjoy visual novels. The visuals are stunning and the writing is not half bad either. The game includes a set of survival elements that are quite fun. There was several moments where I found my self planning out how I would use my items and my options. Which is very fun. Most of the items are great and fun to use. There are a few items like the ritual kit that don't really show what they do but a little trial and error can help figure that out. Overall its a immersive well crafted visual novel that's only lacking in length.

Just beat the game (got a Richard and dog escapes ending but he immediately goes back) so I'm gonna keep trying for other endings but wanted to say this is a good game! Great job guys!
