[/quote] [h2]It's a bit too slow[/h2] The game's concept is pretty fun, sort of like a less interesting version of Settlers of Catan (board game), where instead of using resources to build your economy and trying to get the most amount of cities and resources, you just take turns very slowly building and destroying each other's tiles until you have enough money to win the game. The main issue is the speed; it's extremely slow, even against AI; everything takes a long time to cycle through for the other person's turn; it's not particularly interesting to watch your buildings flip their token around (takes 5 seconds), the same with others or your duration before they explode and stop providing economy. Aside from that, it's a decent game, but I doubt I'll return unless they provide a means to avoid all of the long animations and cutscenes that detract from the strategy. It's similar to watching someone play monopoly, but instead of placing their piece on GO! they slowly move it tile by tile without skipping any of them even though there is no need. It just takes up a lot of time that we could use to play more games. [h2]Conclusion[/h2] There is a "Unstuck" button in the park, so you know you'll be going out of the map and having issues here and there, nothing really game-breaking, but aside from the slow pace, it's not too horrible.

I love this game and previously reviewed it recommending it. However, I'm now unable to play the game and must change my review. Due to the game not having cloud saves I've started it 4 or 5 times now due to computer issues and buying a new laptop. It was super annoying, but ultimately my fault, not anything the game did. On my current (and what I hoped to be final full) playthrough everything went as it had before until I saved after reaching the second area and when I returned to play again I found the game locked with a bunch of nonsense in the dialog box. I've never seen this before and I'm not able to do anything but quit the game. It's very disappointing because I truly enjoy Wild Country, but this has made it unplayable.
