Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Wild Blue Skies is a $15 love letter to Star Fox 64. Though I expected (hoped) for more, it's a decent game overall for the value. If you enjoy the demo, you will love the game. But I could not enjoy the game. The controls and handling absolutely kill the experience for me. The Blue Bomber maneuvers nothing like an AR-Wing, which wouldn't be a problem on its own, but a number of problems and baffling design decisions make flying and maneuvering feel clunky. The game has no way to remap the controls, which is completely inexcusable regardless of whether you're an indie or AAA. Even using Steam's controller settings won't help, because the game inexplicably maps blasters and charge shots as separate buttons. All the more tedious with the way the game alternates between enemies that need one or the other. You also lose altitude if you break I ultimately lost my patience with the game due to lack of multiple viewpoints. No cockpit view. No way to zoom out or zoom in. I quit the game after dying repeatedly in a narrow cave level where I kept smashing into enemies and enemy fire because my ship was blocking my view of what was directly in front of it. All of these problems have nothing to do with overhyped expectations or the Star Fox 64 remake release, but because of conscious design decisions and UX issues that a bare minimum amount of playtesting should have uncovered. For this reason, I cannot recommend the game unless the controls in the demo clicks with you.

Honestly I was so looking forward to this game as a huge Star Fox fan but did one route and could not care to do anymore. bland, controls are bad, weird design choice on how when you brake you drop. I find it very hard to see especially the final level all the red just blends together. Music boring, enemy team who? I could even let is pass being basically a Star Fox reskin but it is just so boring. Strange AI that just wants to Kamikaze into you all the time to. Bowie is cute and the team designs pretty good and the levels are somewhat unique but that is about it. I am sure the team worked hard on this you can see but I just can't be bothered to play any further they really missed the mark.
I want to state first, I do not think this is a bad game. There are many things to enjoy about it, but I have enough gripes that I can't recommend it. I got this game because Nintendo Starfox refuses to do anything that isn't Star Fox 64 AGAIN. I saw this game as a hope that someone agreed with me and made a game that Nintendo refused to make in the style of StarFox. Sadly, this game is also nothing but another StarFox 64. Same levels, same ideas, all with just a slight enough coat of paint to avoid copyright. If Wild Blue Skies are able to bring something new in an update, maybe I'll get the game again but for now I'm tired of being told to buy just another StarFox 64.
The game is a well priced Star Fox 64 'clone'. In some ways it feels like they copy/pasted things from Star Fox 64 and changed it up, in other ways they did their own thing which I think are excellent additions to this kind of game. It isn't a particularly long game so it can be played multiple times to try different routes, achieve certain goals. or to pass the time. One complaint I do have is the opening scene cannot be skipped, which if you play it multiple times, or lose and need to restart your run since the game can be challenging at times, it can be quite annoying. That being said, for the relatively low price, I would absolutely recommend this game if you are a Star Fox fan and might be looking for something to scratch that Star Fox itch. If you aren't sure if its worth it due to the currently mixed reviews, there is a demo available to give it a shot and see what you think.
Very fun Starfox 64 like. The levels are similar to old ones we know and love, but they have their own takes and twists on them. I like the introduction of grabbing the hidden letters for each of the levels. My only gripe would be that some of the levels seem somewhat short, but all in all 100% worth the 15$ price tag. pick it up today!
I never played StarFox games, only seen some videos. For some bizarre reason it went past me in my childhood. This game however i've seen in my personal steam calendar and I immidiately added it to my wishlist, coz I wanted to thy "StarFox" game. Despide hate comments I really like the game - amazing visuals, fun gameplay. Even though I've played about an hour and have no game to compare with, I really enjoy it so far.
It's essentially just a 3rd party ripoff of Star Fox 64, with nothing much that makes it different outside of different characters, a different setting, and prettier visuals. Even the first level feels like a 1 to 1 of the first level from Star Fox 64. That being said, it's still an entertaining 3rd party ripoff and I would much rather pay 15 bucks for this than full price for the latest Star Fox game on the Switch 2 which looks like a generic space shooter with no personality. No first party Nintendo game that has come out this decade is worth full price anyway. Wild Blue Skies is appropriately priced, looks pretty despite being a budget title, and if you're the type of person like me who's currently boycotting console manufacturers like Nintendo and you're looking for a way to get your Star Fox fix, this will fill that void easily. It's a little disappointing that it's not doing much different with the Star Fox formula, but hey for 15 bucks I can easily excuse it. Sometimes with these indie spiritual successors, the phrase "if it ain't broke don't fix it" is a good philosophy to go by.
Not sure why this game is getting some rough reviews, but personally im loving it! I absolutely adore Starfox 64 and this is such a love letter from the team. While I have yet to play through every level the only criticism I have that is in the dogfight levels the enemy ships clip through the terrain/structures which can make it frustrating or difficult to chase a target. Fantastic game guys!!
the npc get shot down way too way fast i cant see anything when shooting 5/10
