Whisker Waters

Refunded. I'm on the hunt for a game I don't feel guilty playing on public transportation during my work commute. This looked perfect. Unfortunately, it's buggy and seems like it wasn't really playtested at all. I don't need my hand held, for the most part, but when the Elder says, "If you get stuck, ask around." and there's literally no one who will comment on the fish I'm supposed to looking for, there are problems with the development. Further, the Elder asks me for me fruit, which I found easily, and gave them to him...except he apparently needed the fish first, so even though he took my fruit, it didn't count and I then had to wait an entire in-game day for more fruit to drop so I could collect it. 51 minutes and I'm already seeing game-breaking issues in the first quest. Does not bode well for the rest of the game. Also, the camera is too close and very sensitive, as plenty of other players have complained about. I'm a veteran of third-person games, so I can manage the camera's insane touchiness, but I definitely recognize that it needs work. I thought about keeping this in my library to see if some hotfixes take care of things, but honestly I'd rather spend $16 on another game instead.

First of all, I really liked this game and had a lot of fun with it. I did a full play through with all side quests and caught all fish in the game. Yet I can't really recommend it. Pros: Really cute graphics overall Character creation is good+ you can change the look of your cat in game Fishing is entertaining with little mini games, different fishing mechanics and plenty of different lures Questline was simple but entertaining Cons: really wonky camera floating objects bugged items (little boat in hairball heaven not working, some ore can be exploded but not picked up etc) Things that I didn't mind but might turn off others: no quest markers for the most part of the game Combat is unforgiving (you are dead in one hit) If you fall in the water you die catch all types of fish (legendary) Achievement is bugged Overall it is a nice, cute and fun game, but it just doesn't seem properly finished, but still half in developement. If you don't mind floating objects and some things not quite working as intended, go for it. If you are looking for a polished game, stay away.

I'm leaving a positive review to support devs. This game does not deserve "mostly negative" review status. Yes, there are a few problems, but if you want to play cute little game about cats and fishing - you're in the right place.

The controls are really weird and fishing is not as fun as it should be, but I love the rest. The cats are so sweet and you can create your own char. I also like the quests and island/village. It doesn't feel empty in my opinion. There are bugs and it needs work, but it still is a good game. BUT I wouldn't buy it for 20€ right now. Wait for updates or buy it on sale :3

The reviews definitely had me a bit worried as I was p excited about this one! The idea of being a little fisherman cat was a lovely idea, and I still think so now. It does have some jank, and playing with the mouse and keyboard is definitely not all that optimal for me as it lacks feeling like I'm doing much of anything. With the controller though? MUCH better! The camera feels less janky and the controls are very intuitive when it's in your hands. The animations are pretty rudimentary as well as the graphics, but the vibe that I have gotten thus far in playing it, (which, is admittedly not that much,) is that it feels like a lovingly-crafted roblox game made by a small team or an individual creator and I really enjoy that feel. Refunding only so I can buy it physically, I want to have this one on my shelf! :D

The game is definitely rough around the edges, and could benefit from much needed optimisation. However, the concept is great and the fishing is really fun. In regard to the gameplay I think the game could do with a revision of it's questing system, including improved quest tracking and NPCs having a quest icon above their head. In addition, some sort of fast travel system would be welcomed as there is a lot of backwards and forwards.

It doesn't state how to get apples or any fruit, there's no tutorial and I have just been running around wasting time in it. It's not engaging and I haven't found any guides online on how to progress. It has potential, but it needs more work and polish to earn my money. It should be listed as a game in alpha or beta because this is definitely not a fully polished game.

猫ゲーだから買った。猫の模様を変更出来るのは良いが、各模様で色を変更したい。敵に攻撃されても溺れても死亡にはならず近くの場所から復活するが、猫だから少ししか泳げず変な場所で水辺にハマったら脱出できず進行不可能になるので橋などから落ちないよう要注意。浜辺に降りる階段も下から上ろうとすると段差に引っかかってなかなか上に戻れなかったりして詰みかけるので、手動でマメにセーブした方が良い。あとカメラの動きかできるだけスムーズになるようにPCのスペックに応じて画質を落とさないとすぐに酔う。

Whisker Waters -Aventura -Pesca -Deveria ser relaxante -elementos de rpg -Conquistas -Sem Legendas em PT/BR -Então o game aparentemente apresenta ser super interessante, uma mistura de aventura e rpg e pesca, porem, não foi isso, fiquei enjoado com a rotação da câmera, fora que ela e horrível de controlar, principalmente por ser no mouse. -O Sistema de pesca em si não e difícil, bem interessante a mecânica, onde a pescaria e o principal foco game. -Cenários bem feitos -Temos como customizar os gatos no inicio -Poderia ser possível nomear o gato, onde não foi possível Ponto Negativos -Primeiro inicio, fiquei bugado na água, logo no tutorial de pesca, forçando o inicio da nova partida -Quando você esta abaixo de qualquer cenário, o seu personagem ficando escondido no cenário -Os npc's não te passam carisma alguma, parece que todos são iguais, mesmo por serem gatos, poderiam ter suas personalidades únicas, já que o mapa não e grande. -Entrei na casa do meu personagem, e simplesmente algo que deveria ser um descanso, uma cama que e o básico, porem sem funções de descanso como qualquer outro RPG, aqui isso não existe, fora que meu personagem ficou bugado entre a mesa e uma parede, eu ate tirei um print. -A musica se tornou cansativa e repetitiva durante o pouco que jogamos -Deveria estar em acesso antecipado, pois tem muito problemas no game Underbite Games agradeço por ter nos consentido a chave, mas dessa forma esta impossível de jogar e trazer uma boa review do game, vamos ser honestos, eu esperava um rpg bem interessante, focado em pesca, mas fiquei decepcionado com os problemas encontrados, tentei jogar novamente mas impossível, por conta do delay causado pela câmera, dando enjoo !!
