'Game of the Year' finalist at the 2021 VR Awards and TIGA Awards, ‘Zombieland VR: Headshot Fever’ combines arcade lightgun games with racing mechanics. Headshot combos slow the clock, meaning the most precise shooter is the fastest - challenge the leaderboards with skill, speed, and accuracy.

I played for 85 minutes straight in my first go! The game is stunning and beautifully optimised. I played on ultra settings at 4X MSAA at 120% on a GTX 980. Hard earned money well spent, I would easily pay twice as much for this game. Fast gun gameplay, amazing graphics. I dare say this is the best VR game I've ever played! So, Zombieland VR Is somehow a shooting gallery / light gun arcade game. You just look where you are going to "advance" and the character TELEPORTS to that position and you try make headshots on Zombies with gameplay variations. Reload actions are made pushing a button and moving the gun close to the magazine floating next to the belt. You then go teleporting on different stages and killing zombies the fastest way you can creating headshots combos and gaining adrenaline rush effects These effects will slow the time around on short instants for you to get faster and keep chaining shots. You also have a Gun range targets stages not only for practice but also as additional challenges or to compete with others for the best scores in Leaderboards. The gameplay as a shooting gallery is not bad but remains still as a casual game, with cartoon characters from the movie, and mixed with Zombieland humor The good is that if you like this casual gameplay, it has plethora of arcade rewards around, new weapons to unlock, gradual stages to unlock, leaderboards, upgrades, etc. Is a full game... very polished with good level of production.
While I had my doubts at first, you should absolutely give this game a chance. It is essentially an old-school Time-Crisis/House of the Dead shooter. with the bonus of a combo system and unlockables to give you a reason to keep playing. It does that VERY well. The story is simple. Reloading is simple. The graphics are simple. It doesn't have finger tracking. It was clearly built for the Quest and ported over. *BUT* none of those things stop it from being a fun arcade shooter - and for $20 it was definitely worth the price for me.
Very fun to play. Although I would prefer the option for more realistic reloading mechanics(grabbing a mag from the belt and inserting manually). That said it is still very fun. The racing aspect is very engaging
A great VR shooter with precise shooting, good enemy variety, cool art style, and near infinite replayability. The base campaign is short, but the multiple goals, B-side levels, upgrades, and leaderboards provide a reason to continue jumping back into the chaos!
it's a casual arcade shooter, simple clean graphics, with great optimisation. Playing maxed out on a RX5700, Rift S. I'm a yuuuge fan of Robo Recall, this game does have a greater emphasis on the time trial side of things, but it does also feature loadouts and gun upgrades. It's nice to have some casual shooting fun, I paid full price and I'm happy with that.
Zombieland VR: Headshot Fever
Vou apenas deixar algumas regras...
𝘼𝙥𝙚𝙨𝙖𝙧 𝙙𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙧 𝙢𝙖𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙨 𝙚́ 𝙗𝙤𝙢 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖 𝙨𝙚 𝙙𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙧 𝙣𝙖𝙨 𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙨 𝙫𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙨, 𝙚 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖 𝙦𝙪𝙚𝙢 𝙜𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙖 𝙙𝙤𝙨 𝙛𝙞𝙡𝙢𝙚𝙨, 𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙖́ 𝙖𝙞́, 𝙪𝙢 𝙗𝙤𝙢 𝙟𝙤𝙜𝙤 𝙑𝙍 𝙙𝙖 𝙨𝙚́𝙧𝙞𝙚 𝙕𝙤𝙢𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙖!
A surprisingly competent light gun-esque rail shooter in budget movie tie-in clothes that doesn't pull punches with its challenge.

This is the closest thing I've played yet to VR 'House of the Dead'. While that leaves me wondering what Sega's waiting for, this game fulfills that niche admirably.
The core mechanic of reducing all of the time you've spent in a combo from your final level time, and larger combos subtracting more time from your total, is brilliant in execution and simplicity. It keeps this title feeling fresh for hours as you're constantly trying to outdo yourself placing rapid, accurate headshots and beating ever more punishing par times. Sights? Who needs them. Your combo meter ticks down so quickly that, if you want to make the par times for A and S ranks or post leaderboard times, you'll be forced to improve your hip firing. Laser sights? They're there if you really want them, but their use reduces the time saved from combos, effectively shutting you out of higher rank and leaderboard par times. This is brilliant. One of my biggest complaints about games that feature shooting in VR is how many of them effectively reduce firearms to laser pointers, like you're giving an enthusiastic PowerPoint presentation at an EDM show. Here you need to feel out your real-life stance and practice instead of waiting to see a pointer overlap with your target before pulling the trigger.
Again, simplicity is this game's greatest strength and it has excellent game feel.
Don't get too hung up on the game's budget visuals. I don't just mean simplified models or low-resolution textures; a good example you'll see a lot is the pool table you select missions from. Its cues and balls are half the size they should be. The voice acting's decent, but I could see the writing getting annoying long-term. I'm not much of a fan of the movies, so this feedback may be worthless to you. One other complaint is load times. In spite of how little resources its assets should be using, restarting levels in anything but the shooting range doesn't just mean resetting event flags and enemy locations; the entire level is loaded again from scratch. This could do with some optimizations in a future patch, but even if it doesn't, it's more of a mild annoyance than anything.
Expert Tips for Corpse Re-Removal:
[olist][*]Supporting a gun with both hands improves its accuracy. Once you unlock the revolver in particular, this means that its barrel won't kick as much. Firing that weapon one-handed means finding your rhythm as the barrel lowers between shots, making it more punishing for inaccurate play. When shooting with this style at short to medium distances, keep your elbows locked and swivel at your hips. If you're not playing in "Z Mode", you'll also have the advantage of all of your rounds being tracers, so you can not only see your spread but better adjust when firing from the hip if your first shot misses. [*]The semi-automatic shotgun will add one combo multiplier upon a shell hitting any enemy anywhere. This makes it my tool of choice for bridging gaps left by reloading your pistol. [*]Submachineguns don't increase your combo meter upon hitting an enemy, but will upon killing them regardless of whether the killing blow was a headshot or not. [*]Your first playthrough of the game will not have you yielding A and S rank times, and it has nothing to do with your level of skill. There is an additional perk slot you'll unlock, plus a very important perk that allows combos to persist between room clears. You can still be fulfilling other challenge requirements your first playthrough, so this honestly didn't bother me like it normally might. [*]Attempts at the Zombieland Invitational require a 100TP entry fee for every attempt.. This means you'll need to farm TP once the challenge payouts start drying up. Select "Extended Cut" and then "TP Farm" as your level, and then change your loadout to include the perk that improves accuracy, the TP bonus perk, the last submachinegun you unlock, and the revolver. Keeping your SMG in your non-dominant hand, pop zombie heads with the revolver and immediately fire on the launched TP. This is important as locomotion to the next node of a level begins as soon as you clear the last enemy in your area if you're looking in a 60° cone of the next node, which can lead to you dropping a roll of TP. Chain together every single roll of TP. The TP perk increases the value of each subsequent roll you chain together by 1. This means your first roll is worth 1, second worth 2, etc.. My personal best is 41.
(41/2)(41+1) = 861
This is an effective strategy for giving yourself more breathing room for more Invitational runs as well as maxing out your weapons with post-game upgrades.[/olist]
Great arcade gallery/onrails shooter. Based in the Zombieland movie universe you get to interact with the 4 main movie characters, there are a ton of lines and dialogue thats really well done. The game is a set of levels that can be completed in 1-5 minutes, so the whole game is played in quick "bites". You have 3 main pistols with unlimited ammo, and 4 secondary weapons with limited ammo. There are like 5 different zombies, to give it some variation. Levels are very well designed, they are fast and fun and never felt unfair or impossibly hard. In 4hours i finished the game (all the main missions) and most of the extra levels, im still far from getting all the throphies, Graphics looked nice and i think i played on the max setting, i had great performance on a gtx1080. While id like some things to be different, like having "manual" reloading, the game is great at with it tries to accomplish, a fast, fun, on rails shooter. I think this might be the most "time crysis-y" game on VR right now, and its a blast! Recommended for anyone that wants a fast paced and fun zombie gallery shooter.
This game is fun and competitive. It's so much fun shooting zombies in VR and this game has a lot of things you can do which is great. You can practice your aim in training place or just go do challenges in normal maps so you unlock new gun skins and skills. I hope there will be more updates in the future because this game has really good potential. Also nominated this game for the best VR game of the year :)
