Super fun! Played with my 5-year-old, and we both enjoyed it. I have such fond memories of playing the game as a kid. I just wish there was more than the one series of cases for the price.
child of the eighties and this brought back good memories. there is a glitch to this game. it doesn't always SAVE your current spot. i find myself restarting a few steps back and that becomes very frustrating at times.
I didn't play this one as a kid, but I loved Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego and this scratched that nostalgic itch. That being said, I played two missions and then went to quit and it closed the game without saving. If there is a way to save, I'm not sure how to do it. I'm unlikely to be willing to repeat the first two missions to finish the game in the near future. Be careful when quitting and make sure you actually save!
I didn't play this as a kid. I played the Deluxe versions of the MSDOS games first, which this game seemed to be an evolution of, as well as Great Chase Through Time, Math Detective, and Word Detective. I was more looking for a nostalgic retread through Great Chase Through Time--but this satisfied the itch well enough. It also introduced me to some of the lore the animated Netflix show pulled from which I hadn't known as I'd stopped playing Carmen Sandiego games after Think Quick Challenge (it wasn't my favorite as the earlier games were), by introducing Agent Jules. Overall good, though the background graphics at times made me think I was playing a game from 1996 instead of 2001.

Excellent game. great voice acting. Plenty of Educational material, and a good time to be had by all.
A childhood favorite!! This game is such a classic, I still love it even as an adult. And now I can share it with my kids!
