The game runs on RPG Maker assets by [i]MagicHouse[/i] that features a female knight captain Adelaide Devondell who was inspired by her father's heroic deeds when she was young. Hence, she followed in her father's footsteps by training hard to become a knight captain. Her childhood friend Yufia Langerton was jealous of Adelaide's combat prowess, rank, and status among the knights. Adelaide was the only woman to have surpassed him at their knight academy, and the two have been exchanging snide remarks whenever they meet, although he also secretly cared for her safety and well-being. One day, her father tasked Adelaide and her devoted squad member, Phil Cross, to investigate a merchant. The trader, Marlowe, revealed himself as a magician and cast a curse on Adelaide that could eventually kill her as part of an ongoing feud between knights and magicians. The story follows Adelaide as she grapples with her curse, and develops a special relationship with a junior knight, a knight captain or a magician who try to save her from death. My Steam group [i]Visual novel, JRPG, Anime[/i] and [i]Sinical Network[/i] worked on an English fan translation patch for the Japanese version of this game, [i]Ken ga Hana ni Shizumu Toki[/i], in May 2021 after the English and Chinese version of the game [i]Les Fleursword[/i] was removed from Steam a couple of months earlier. Now that the developer has brought the Japanese version of the game back to Steam, and my group has obtained permission from the new publisher to publish the fan translation patch, we hope that players who expressed disappointment at the game being removed from Steam and not giving it the English translation it deserved could give [i]When Sword Sinks Into Flowers[/i] a try with our fan translation patch. [h1]기사단 대장인 여주인공이 죽음의 저주에 걸리고 공략캐릭터들과 사랑에 빠지는 이야기[/h1] 일본 R18 비주얼 노벨 오토메 게임. 더빙 X. 원제는 <剣が花に沈むとき>이며, 2017년 6월에 일본에서 발매되었다. 2017년 8월에 모 퍼블리셔를 통해서 [url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/689650/Les_Fleursword/]<Les Fleursword(花之语)>[/url]라는 이름으로 게임 영문판 및 중문판이 스팀에 출시됐다가 2021년 3월에 판매중지됐다. 이후 2023년 2월에 개발팀 매직하우스에서 일본 오리지널판을 스팀에 재출시했다. 한때 마법사가 존재했다던 전설이 남아있는 포드길리아 왕국. 여주인공 아델라이트의 아버지이자 기사단장인 아르토리우스는 항구 주변에서 수상한 상인이 돌아다닌다는 소식을 듣고 기사단의 대장 중 한 명인 아델라이트와 그녀의 부하인 펠에게 조사하라고 지시한다. 원정 중 아델라이트는 마법사인 말로우와 맞닥뜨리고 그에게서 죽음의 저주를 받는다. 이후 공략캐릭터들이 저주를 푸는 약의 재료 중 하나인 아이래쉬 꽃을 손에 넣어 약을 조제해 아델라이트가 그 약을 마심으로써 저주가 풀리고 공략캐릭터와 아델라이트가 맺어지게 된다. 공략 대상 : 기사단 부대원 펠, 기사단 대장이자 동갑내기 라이벌 유피아, 포드길리아 왕국과 기사를 원망하고 있는 마법사 말로우 펠→유피아→말로우 순으로 공략했는데, 개인적으로 말로우>유피아>펠 순으로 재미있었다. 설정과 스토리 자체는 뻔하고 무난하다. 펠은 해바라기 타입이어서 귀엽긴 한데 좀 성가실 때도 있다. 유피아는 자신보다 뛰어난 아델라이트에 열등감을 갖고 있으며 아델라이트를 지켜줄 수 있는 남자가 되고 싶어한다. 말로우는 아델라이트와 지하감옥에 장기간 머물면서 자연스럽게 이어진다. H씬은 공략캐마다 한 번만 나온다. 각 루트마다 시나리오에 아쉬운 점이 있지만 동인게임이므로 그냥 그러려니 한다.
