Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I played the demo and enjoyed it, so I figured that all of the hate reviews are just whiny people that are bad at puzzles. Well, no. That is not the case. The game is just not good, with some of the worst puzzles I've encountered in recent memory. Some are good, yes, but most of them are already in the demo. Sadly, an easy pass.

Overall, I had a good time with What's the Password?. It ended up being a great game to play with a group of friends, sitting around the TV and trying to solve puzzles together. Some of the puzzles were genuinely clever and satisfying to figure out, requiring a bit of teamwork and outside-the-box thinking. My biggest issue was the difficulty scaling. It felt completely inconsistent. Some puzzles practically hand you the answer on screen, while others suddenly throw an enormous difficulty spike at you with little warning. The result is a strange pacing where you might solve five puzzles almost instantly, spend twenty minutes stuck on a single puzzle, and then immediately go back to solving several more in under a minute. It never really settles into a steady progression. That said, despite the uneven difficulty curve, we still had a lot of fun with it. In fact, by the time we finished, we wished there were more puzzles to tackle, which is usually a good sign that a game is doing something right. I'd give What's the Password? a 7/10. It's an enjoyable puzzle game with some genuinely clever ideas, but the inconsistent difficulty keeps it from reaching its full potential.

It isn't a very long puzzle game (I would say average 2 hours of actual gameplay for those more keen to puzzle solving), but it is still a challenge. Some levels you need to think outside the typical solution and others the answer is easier to get. I would recommend this game to those who like cracking codes and puzzle solving.

很难想象2026年还有这种马赛克画质的游戏
只有1/4的题目有趣。
Enjoyable. There was only one puzzle where I had to look up external knowledge and that was the
music note puzzle
I liked the mix of deduction puzzles and meta puzzles. I left the game running for a while but you can complete everything in ~2 hours. For the price, that might be a tough sell. If you can get it on sale, and you like indie puzzle games, it's definitely worth a buy.
Excellent little game to play, though the hints arent deep enough were you wont have to google if you really cant get there
