About
Welcome to Planet E1d0r4d0! On a lonely planet at the edge of known space, a late-night diner hidden deep in abandoned mines awaits your arrival. This pixel-art RPG combines management simulation with side-scrolling dungeon exploration. Hunt exotic ingredients in underground expeditions by day, serve customers and unlock storylines by night - all while earning your survival and uncovering the mystery behind your sister's death.

You are Louise, a girl from dying Earth who once shared everything with your sister. Three years ago, she left for the legendary resource world "E1d0r4d0" seeking work - and vanished completely. Then came her final letter - a farewell carrying one last request.
She's asked you to travel to this desolate frontier world and inherit "Habitable Zone," the mysterious diner she ran in the mine's deepest chambers. Here, survival is just the beginning - the real truth lies buried beneath the planet's surface.
Extraordinary cuisine demands extraordinary ingredients. E1d0r4d0's underground networks harbor creatures beyond imagination. During daylight, you'll plunge into the planet's belly, navigating treacherous caverns rich with both danger and opportunity. Hunt the bizarre native life forms and transform them into culinary masterpieces.
Your ingredient hunts may turn deadly - the prey might become the predator! But death is merely an inconvenience in this age of consciousness backup technology. Upload your mind to the machines, and when your body fails, you'll awaken in a fresh clone, ready to try again. Go ahead - embrace death a few times and see what happens!
When darkness falls, your late-night diner comes alive. Using your sister's recipe notes and the day's hard-won ingredients, you'll craft dishes that stir memories for your eclectic clientele, awakening their long-buried pasts.
Your patrons arrive from across the galaxy - different worlds, different lives, each carrying tales both wondrous and suspicious. Through these encounters, you'll slowly assemble clues about your sister's disappearance and the experiences that led to her fate. Just remember: keep the business profitable and pay your corporate landlords on time, or they'll seize the diner without mercy!
Your explorations will uncover echo recording devices left by vanished expedition teams, preserving accounts of the strange phenomena they encountered below. As you venture deeper, unsettling patterns emerge - these underground spaces feel disturbingly familiar. Have you been here before? Who are the two women whose conversations haunt your dreams each night? What earth-shattering truths lie hidden in this planet's core...

Welcome to Planet E1d0r4d0! is one of those rare indie games that attempts to fuse several fundamentally different genres into a single loop, and in doing so creates an experience that feels both familiar and unusual. At its heart is the story of Louise, a young woman who flees a dying Earth in search of her missing sister, arriving on the desolate frontier world known as E1d0r4d0. What she finds is not a heroic mission or a thriving colony, but an abandoned underground diner buried in the remnants of a failed mining outpost. From this lonely refuge, the game begins weaving together dungeon-crawling action, cooking and meal preparation, resource management, and a slowly unfolding mystery. Instead of treating these elements as separate features, the game uses them to create a rhythm of danger and rest, exploration and routine, that defines its tone. The daytime sections form the action-driven half of the game. Louise descends into the cavernous mines beneath the planet, navigating winding tunnels filled with hostile alien creatures and scattered remnants of the miners who once worked there. The pixel-art environments are atmospheric—dim, eerie, and often unsettling—but they are also practical spaces where you gather ingredients, hunt unfamiliar fauna, and occasionally uncover fragments of the planet’s forgotten past. Combat is simple but satisfying enough, relying on timing and evasion more than complex combos. The mines offer a sense of isolation and quiet dread, reinforced by lore devices like memory echoes and data logs that hint at what really happened in the depths. Even death is softened by the world’s lore—your consciousness can be reloaded—encouraging experimentation without undermining the stakes. Nightfall shifts the tone completely. After returning to the diner, you take the raw ingredients collected during the day and transform them into dishes for customers from across the galaxy. This half of the game is a relaxing management and cooking simulation, where you select recipes, prepare meals, balance finances, and keep the diner afloat while serving a colorful cast of travelers. Each visitor brings personality and stories that gradually fill in the emotional texture of the world. Conversations reveal clues about Louise’s sister, lingering mysteries around the planet, and the fragile state of humanity beyond its borders. These quieter moments provide emotional grounding after the tension of exploration, creating a cycle that keeps the game’s pace steady and reflective. As the loop repeats, the narrative begins to expand elegantly. Welcome to Planet E1d0r4d0! doesn’t rush its story; instead, it allows the world to speak through fragments—abandoned journals, subtle dialogue, and environmental details in both the diner and the mines. The contrast between the harshness of daytime expeditions and the warmth of nighttime service deepens the sense of duality at the heart of the game. The diner becomes a fragile sanctuary, a place Louise tries to preserve even as the planet’s darker truths push steadily closer. The blend of melancholy and resilience is palpable, and it becomes the emotional anchor that keeps the experience compelling even when the gameplay itself wavers. However, the game’s ambition occasionally works against it. Not all systems feel equally deep, and players who prefer one aspect of the experience over another may find the balance uneven. The diner management is charming but ultimately light compared to more complex life-sim or cooking titles. The mine exploration, though atmospheric, can become repetitive after multiple trips, especially when tracking down specific creatures or ingredients. Combat is functional but rarely surprises, and the interface for managing recipes, inventory, and finances feels serviceable rather than polished. These shortcomings do not ruin the experience, but they highlight the difficulty of maintaining depth across multiple gameplay systems without compromise. Still, the imperfections are somewhat softened by the game’s sincerity and distinct personality. Welcome to Planet E1d0r4d0! never feels like it’s trying to imitate other titles; instead, it leans fully into its hybrid nature, creating a world where sci-fi hardship and personal grief coexist with small, intimate moments of connection. The pixel-art aesthetic, though simple, captures the blend of loneliness and comfort at the center of the story, with dim, alien caverns contrasting against the soft glow of the diner’s lights. The soundtrack and ambient effects further support the tone, shifting between quiet unease and cozy immersion depending on the time of day. Ultimately, Welcome to Planet E1d0r4d0! succeeds because of how well its parts complement one another. The action and exploration give weight to the story, the cooking and management give meaning to the resources you gather, and the narrative threads connect both halves into a unified journey of searching, surviving, and hoping. It may not satisfy players looking for depth in a single genre, but for those who appreciate games that blend mechanics to enhance atmosphere and storytelling, it offers a memorable and emotionally resonant experience. It is a modest game with ambitious ideas, and while not every idea is fully refined, the overall result is a unique and compelling adventure that lingers long after you leave the neon glow of the diner behind. Rating: 7/10
I woud love to love this game but... I'm European. I'm, no hardcore gamer like Chinese people. I've get to last white haired boss, but cannot defeat it... I've got even the green boss with shield, but the last one? I think this game is way to hard for how clanky the controls are. Often required frame perfect reflect, but cannot do it, becouse last animation didn't finished it's last frame. Sometimes after parry, the "parry icon" has it counter set to 6-9 but it isn't darkened - so you think you can parry but no - you get damage. I feel, like there is a true ending if you finish this game without single death, but I think it may be impossible. I was looking on the youtube to find someone who done it - nothing. And the saddest part... After many many many attempts at white haired boss, in desperation I choose "new game with story mode". Sadly - story mode isn't easier in the slightes when it comes to combat itself, so my previous save is gone, I cannot go back to try to defeat last boss, and going through the game once more without dying... There is no way I can do that. So sadly, I won't see true ending. Even on youtube. And I'm sad about it :(
