About
Welcome to Elderfield is a cozy horror RPG where the abnormal is normal, the townsfolk are odd, the eldritch beings watch over you and the local news reports seem stranger by the day.

Everything in Elderfield is unsettling, from the haunting, horror manga-inspired, hand-drawn visuals to the dark, lofi soundscapes composed by Dated. Despite the strange creatures lurking just outside your home, those who wander into Elderfield rarely find a reason… or option, to leave.

Customize your home and character, unravel daily mysteries, befriend the odd townsfolk (or even marry one!), go fishing, spend your afternoons mining and forage through the surrounding wilds… There's lots to do in Elderfield!

Cultivate your land, harvest your crops, and stop the growth of unruly tentacles. Manage a variety of strange, otherworldly livestock, grow useful crops like corn, pumpkins, teeth or eyeballs and hope that beings from the woods don’t wander onto your farm.

Choose your difficulty, how much suffering can you endure? For players seeking a peaceful life of harvest and discovery, cozy difficulty offers a more laid-back experience. For those who crave a challenge, the Old Gods are waiting.
Elderfield features a deep, turn-based combat system where you must utilize gathered resources, strategic buffs and diverse equipment to survive encounters with ancient, Lovecraftian horrors.
Die, learn, farm, and forage… Then die again.
Full RPG life sim with relationships, customization, fishing and more
Hand drawn horror manga inspired artwork
Dark lofi soundtrack by Dated
Build your farm, manage animals, mine and forage to build resources

Romance Farmer Hans update when?
Unique enough to stand on its own as a farming lifesim thing. A single QOL change is that it automates the change of farming equipment. You have your hoe and watering can in the inventory? The game knows to hoe the ground, plant the chosen seed, water it with just three clicks. No need to scroll between tools. Love that. Turn based combat, a lot more RPG then the 'spam a' of others also makes things interesting. I didn't realize how much more I'd like this style in this kind of game. But I really do. Its weird and creepy and I love it where as I kind of bounced off games like Stardew Valley before. Hopefully this will help someone make the choice to get the game. I'm glad I decided to give it a shot.

This is a turn-based Combat JRPG, with farm-sim mechanics. I think that the dungeon-delving part is the most important aspect to progression in this game, and the farming side exists to give you the fuel you need to go dungeon delving, as opposed to the other Harvest Moon/Stardew Valley-likes where tycooning and planning your farm is at the core of the gameplay. I normally dislike turn-based games that amount to just hitting each other with numbers until someone drops, but I don't mind it here due to the resource-management and preparation aspect to the game. If I die in a combat encounter, it's because I gambled too hard by delving to deep into the mines with a lack of food, or that I didn't build my character according to the challenges ahead, and only sometimes is it because I zigged when I should have zagged in combat. But the combat is nothing phenomenal, a lot of the monster designs and atmosphere however, are, and do indeed make me timbers shiver when I get an encounter and I go "wtf is that". Planning for the farm is much more forgiving than other SDV-likes, a lot of the crops (at least that I know of) are growable in most or all the seasons, so I'm rarely trying to calculate how much of X crop I can grow in Y amount of time. What crops I need for certain foods or crafting materials for gear is the main question for most of my decision-making for the farming aspect. Day-time management also takes more of a back seat due to how early you unlock fast travel options, nor do you have to be back home by 2am every night. A new day starts when the clock hits 00:00 no matter where in the map you stand, and it seems like you can choose to just pull all-nighters, with your character just getting more tired the more nights you stay up (at least that seems to be what the mechanics are getting at, I go to sleep every night like a good boy so I wouldn't know 100% what happens if you actually do an all-nighter). Not to mention, days just feel much longer than other SDV-likes. The game also initially triggered my Fear&Hunger-induced PTSD, with the toilet, and the dice rolls when you loot and go to sleep. It was a pleasant surprise that - at least so far - bad outcomes only really amount to temporary debuffs, as opposed to the ♥♥♥♥ that happens in Funger iykyk. Overall, 8/10 potentially addictive game. The taxman will be paid, one way or another.
体验很糟糕,尤其是挖矿有时候挖一个矿石能给你蹦出两三个诅咒,给我气笑了
muy entretenido
Everything I wanted out of a farming sim and more
Played the demo for a good 20 hours and instantly bought this on release. Yet to play the release due to an ever increasing backlog of amazing games.. but had to grab this to support this phenomenal game. Stardew Valley - Eldritch Horror Edition. Look Outside combat and mechanics. This is a very solid foundation with a lot of depth already.
siento que son muchas ideas sin concretarse, no hay ninguna mecánica satisfactoria en este juego. arte bonito pero hasta hay. Además tiene muchos bugs.
im haveing alot of fun so far maybe increase the drop rate for the basic picaxe but other then that perfect game
