About
This predominantly kinetic comedy/drama visual novel has two to three hours of gameplay for the main story and fifteen minutes for each secret scene.
Whilst it would be advantageous to have played 'Welcome To... Chichester 2 - Part II : No Regrets For The Future', this episode can be enjoyed on its own.
Not all characters are 18 or over.

Grendel Jinx : A lazy, megalomaniacal kleptomaniac
Five years ago, she nearly suffered a fatal and self-inflicted accident during a school outing, saved only by the protagonist's fortuitous presence.
After rescuing her, the protagonist is promptly coerced into signing a "Friendship Agreement" form - a document designed to tie the protagonist to Grendel, both personally and financially, and then ultimately for the protagonist to join Grendel's organisation.
With the arrival of the last day of term, Grendel needs to hand in her remaining homework or face the prospect of repeating a year.
Drafting in the protagonist to solve her problem, Grendel is annoyed when her demands are swiftly rebuffed.
Initiating a devious plan to ensure her education can progress without interruption, Grendel's actions soon attract her mother's attention, who has her own nefarious plans for the protagonist.

By popular demand, CG graphics have now been introduced to enhance the gameplay.
Funny and dramatic SHORT story.
Gender selection, with gender-specific dialogue at various points in the game.
Seven extra stories are available once the main story has been completed :
'Far Too Good For Us' : Find out why the protagonist ended up in an upgraded broom cupboard (accessed from the title screen).

'High Jinx or Bye Jinx' : The protagonist is a contestant in a gameshow (accessed from the title screen).
Internal and Steam achievements (as per usual).
Visual impairment settings, a background and CG gallery, and a music player. Both galleries are only available once the main story has been completed.
Path and sound notification.
Features the musical talents of Jessica Jenks.
Genre : Comedy, drama, action.
Romance : None (unless you count Grendels love of causing the protagonist problems).

Recently signed Grendel's 'Friendship Document' (more out of pity than anything else). Doesn't realise what exactly that entails.
Whenever Grendel gets behind on homework, she takes the easy way out : Force someone to write everything up. With the protagonist now Grendel's "Best Friend", what better way of starting this friendship than forcing the protagonist to deal with sixteen different assignments ?

Miss Potts is Grendels teacher. She dislikes violence.

The protagonists current boss.

Soon to be the protagonists' secretary and general dogsbody. Absolutely nothing can go wrong there.

Wanting nothing more than their daughter to take over the world, the best way of achieving this is through relentless indoctrination and... ultra-violent anime programs.

Cody and the protagonist dislike each other intensely.

Chole is a hard-working Phoenix Custodian operative

The protagonists' mother. Well-meaning but overbearing. She would like the protagonist to settle down and start a family and is more than willing to help find possible partners.
Believes the protagonist still works for a video game company but is ashamed to admit to it.

🐊 The Reef Recommends You To Try This! 🐊
If you're already a fan of the Welcome to... Chichester series of VNs, you don't want to miss this one. It ties up a lot of loose ends and is a real visual upgrade with lots of new detailed scenery and special effects. If you're a fan of the Chichester series, this is an important prequel that ties up a lot of loose ends. It's a bit shorter than some of the others but is also the nicest visually so far. Welcome To... Chichester 2 - Part II : No Extra Regrets For The Future is not a game, it's an e-book that's been dumped on Steam masquerading as a game. As a visual/interactive novel, this doesn't feature any notable gameplay, it's just a lot of clicking through badly written dialogue that would never have been accepted or published in print, which presents the question, "How did something this badly written end up on Steam?". When someone hoping to become an author is unable to get published in print, they spend $100 and dump their high school fan-fiction onto Steam, under the guise of a game. This e-book was slapped together with the godawfully bad RenPy Visual Novel/E-Book construction kit, so just like no professional writing took place here, no professional game development took place either, it's just a product of filling out templates in the construction kit. Visual novels/e-books are tedious at best... imagine the best novel you ever read, be that Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy or 2001: A Space Odyssey or Twilight (if you have terrible taste in literature), but then translate that to a format where the words dribble out and you have to click your mouse every time you wanted to read the next sentence, instead of just turning the pages. You'd think it was garbage. Now imagine that experience, but with much worse writing (because if these guys could write professionally, they'd be published authors and this would be on shelves in bookstores, and they wouldn't have to pay Valve $100 to self-publish this on Steam), and you have your average Steam e-book. You can get better quality books and comics for free online or from public libraries, or from bookstores for a fraction of the price of this "game". Steam isn't a comic book store, neither is it Netflix, it's for games. Your gaming rig is not a Kindle. It's impossible for me to recommend things to PC gamers that aren't really games.
Online Stalking and Harrassment
The developer has started stalking me, delivering personal attacks and is attempting to publicly cyberbully and intimidate me by posting hitpiece videos and articles. Why? Because I wrote an honest and frank assessment about an objectively bad and failed product. I'm not making that up, SteamDB shows this only ever had 4 concurrent players... it's an objective failure rejected by gamers, for the reasons I supplied in my accurate review. Certainly, the hitpieces the stalker/developer has linked up in response to my reviews for his Ren'py fanfiction asset flips are false and misleading, but cyberbullies don't care about facts, they just want to intimidate and silence the truth. This behavior from the developer is utterly unacceptable, and is a chilling attempt to silence the truth. Now, you can look at the objective facts of my review, and then have a look at how this reviewer is attacking and intimidating reviewers, and suddenly the overwhelming rejection of his craptastic Ren'Py asset flips makes a lot more sense. I will not be intimidated or silenced by stalkers and bullies.

Follow Far2close - Visual Novel Playthroughs Curator Page Welcome to... Chichester 2 - Part II: No Extra Regrets for the Future Developer: Triority Interactive Novels Publisher: Triority Interactive Novels Pros: 1. The story maintains its chaotic humor and it also looks more into the background of Grendel Jinx and the main character, even giving information of the protagonist's previous line of work before he became an agent of The Phoenix Custodians. It also acts as a buildup for the next chapter. 2. The characters stay intact from how they were in previous installments, not deviating from who they are. 3. As stated, CGs have been added. The CGs definitely bring in a fresh breath of air among visuals and also help the scenes they are presented, showcasing the comedic disasters that occur between the protagonist, Grendel Jinx, and her mother. 4. The music is fine, it does the job it is needed to do. No complaints here. Neutrals: 1. It is not necessary to have played the previous titles, but it is recommended if you want to get to know the characters better. Cons: 1. Although the story does look into the backstory of our characters along with being a building block for future additions, it evokes an anticlimactic subplot that lacks the more energetic and action packed emotion than previous titles such as the "WTC: The of America and the Long Vacation" or "WTC 2: The Spy of Chichester and the Eager Tourist Guide". 2. The sprites, mainly Emily and Xavier, could be sized a bit better as it does look a bit awkward. For example when Emily is in the protagonist's office, she is pretty tall but since the background is at an angle, her sprite stands out like she is standing on the chair. 3. Some of the secret scenes do not work, instead they start the beginning of the game. These problematic ones are: Far Too Good For Us, Enemy Thine - Part #1/2, and High Jinx or Bye Jinx. This is when selecting from the main menu. 4. The textbox and UI could use some updating as it is still utilizing Ren'py's default look. A graphical overlay of this would be beneficial, to something that fits the overall theme of the WTC series. Conclusion: Although it does dive in the backstory of characters and act as a stepping stone for a next chapter; it feels mellow or anticlimactic and lacks that overall feeling of an action packed spy series. Score: 6/10 DECENT
Great cg visuals. Great music, Good tempo for gameplay, with scenes changing often and a lot of intrigue and plotlines, though bordering on a bit much leaving the player slightly confused with everything going on with various characters having their own agenda's. Reply required with different character & choices made to discover more of the above-mentioned. (single run-through you'll likely only get around 25% of the achievements unlocked). There's no specific or right path required, explore from various angles to discover more of the overall story content. Knowledge of prior games in series not needed (unless needing more in-depth knowledge of things mention in the intro summary). Much less gameover death in this one compared to the others, which may or may not be a plus for some depending on if they liked the old difficulty levels, or felt annoyed by the death scenes and having to reload the last save you forgot to make since an hour ago. Only complaint is the serious lack of baseball bats to.. er, lean on like a crutch, to be able to reach and gently pat the short.. extremely lovable cute pink haired anime character on the head.
I received this game thanks to my curator page, don't hesitate to follow it if you want to see other reviews, especially on VNs!
Let's start our little review on this game that has quite ... surprised me? You can find the meaning of the number of emoji on my profile, it remains to be perfected but I will try later.

Story 🏝️🏝️🏝️ Interaction 🌺🌺🌺

Lenght 🌠🌠 Price 💵💵

Character 🔆🔆🔆 Normal Route 🌈🌈🌈

CG 🖼️🖼️ BGM 🎼🎼🎼

I will say it sincerely, this game is very far from the level of what I would expect for a Visual Novel of quality however it has the stature of it by its story which is rather turned ironic I suppose but remains very interesting on several aspects. The characters and their past are more or less developed which remains very advantageous and the music is how to say ... of good quality but they are not too much of my taste unfortunately however I know that many would like. It offers us to make choices influencing the ending that you can get so a good point. Actually, although it disappointed me a bit on many points, especially on the artistic level, it is not less interesting to test it. I guess the funds they had were quite limited to offer such a game... ( There are almost no voices for the characters which is a very negative point ! ) The price is very acceptable in promotion because according to what steamdb informs us, its price has recently dropped to -1€ for about 3h of games. In conclusion, I could not really say that I recommend it because many points remain to be developed like the addition of voices for the characters or CGs? Nevertheless, it would deserve a small 6.5/10.
