A co-op seance communications game where one of you died first, and only you can see what's killing the others. Your only voice is a Ouija board your friends keep misreading. Guide them down 9 floors of a haunted house and banish the demon before sunrise. 2-6 players. Brain required.

About
One of you starts dead. Each game, one player becomes the ghost — able to see the demon, the dangers, and the way out, but unable to be heard by the living. Ghosts can hear the living, and each other (ghosts can hear other players, but cannot be heard by non-ghosts.)
As the ghost, you can see everything — the thing hunting the others, where it's safe, the way out before sunrise. The catch: you can't be heard by the living, you can't touch anything, and your only voice is some flickering lights and a seance board that your friends half-believe is even you.
The Ouija board is one of the only voices of the dead. The ghost moves the planchette to point, answer yes or no, or slowly spell things out — and the living will attempt to question them and read it under pressure.
A different demon every time. Its rules are hidden and change each session. Only the dead find out what they are, when they strike, and where. The ghosts can see the danger before it hits. They must communicate it with the living and help them banish the demon so they can leave the house before sunrise.
Gather the relics, one trip at a time. The ghosts search the house for what the ritual needs, then attempt to communicate it to the living, who will then be carrying each piece back while the ghost steers them around what they can't see and what will kill them. Only the ghost can see what and where the relics are, and only the ghost can see the dangers.
You're a ghost. Do ghost things. The ghosts can flicker lights, open and close doors, go through the living and they'll feel it, and as a last resort: scream, loudly -- and if you're all silent enough, you may just hear it. The seance board is not the only way to communicate, but is the only stable way to get full words across to the living.
Banish the demon by name. Winning means spelling out its true name — readable only to the dead once all the relics are collected, then the living must spell it back — so you can banish the demon and get everyone out before sunrise. For example, you and your friends will be spelling ULALULA on the board like crazy people to win the game (and pray that you read it right from the ghost player in the first place!).
Dying lets you help. Players the demon takes join the dead, adding another voice to the seance, and more help at finding the relics and warning players of the dangers.
Nine floors down. The house is bigger underneath. Banish the demon to unlock the next floor, each further from sunrise than the last, and each one holding something the floor above it didn't. Can you and your friends reach the bottom of the house and beat floor 9?
2-6 players online co-op.
You spell H-E-L-P. They read HELL and cheer. Someone gets dragged into the dark. To survive the night, the living will have to haul the right relics back to the seance board and spell out the demon's true name to banish it — and the dead are the only ones who can read that name.

We got this game as a friend slop game and played it as a group of 6 for the first time last night and we really enjoyed it. I'm comparing this game to the category of games where you're meant to fail with your friends. Everyone knows that friendship is about failing together.
THE POSITIVES:

The Planchette:
I actually liked the planchette. I had no issues with response, but I liked that there was some difficulty using it. It made the game more chaotic which led to it being funnier. We didn't know how to use the planchette at first, but we eventually figured it out and began creating codewords to talk to each other with better efficiency and we were doing well by round 3. Once we figured out how to communicate better, it started to feel too easy. We would've finished all the levels in the same night, but we started it at midnight thinking we were going to play for an hour, but then it was 2.7 hours later and we got to level 8. We didn't want to stop playing, but it was 3 am. WE DID NOT EXPERIENCE ANY BUGS OR ISSUES WITH THE PLANCHETTE, So I can’t speak to that. I am no stranger to playing indie games where I have issues with things, and other people don't. In this game, I did not have any issues for almost 3 hours straight.
Dying Does Not End The Run:
I love that if you fail, you can just start at the stage you left off. We were able to communicate how to do things better and then start at the last level we died in.
Someone Leaving/Crashing Does Not Mean a Restart:
One of us crashed and they were able to rejoin the lobby without needing the host to reset the lobby. We have played a lot of games where if someone crashes, we would need to restart completely.
More Player Slots
We play repo, peak, mecca chameleon, cursed companions etc with about 14 people. These games have mods to allow this to happen, but it’s still a feature that makes those games part of our weekend rotations. The Developer responded pretty quickly and said this game does support up to 16 but the gameplay has not been tested. Time to guinea pig.
THE NEGATIVES:
I have 2.7 hours played straight, and I did not run into anything negative about this game other than
The Replayability:
The difficulty does not seem to scale too much in the deeper levels and there’s no real reward to replaying this game unfortunately. There’s no cosmetics, no tools, or relics, or gameplay variation which is fair for the price point (I paid $4.95). We might play this again just to finish the last two levels, maybe make a drinking game out of it. If I spend about $1- $3 an hour on a game, then it’s money well spent. Like a beer per hour with friends.
THE THINGS I WISH THIS GAME HAD:

Mod Compatibility
Mod compatibility in general would be pretty sick. It would allow people to play the way they want and add to replayability. Maybe if the mods are really good, the developer could implement them into the game as other developers have done.
Cosmetics
Right now, we all like sports ball. Maybe in the future, we can all like jiggle physics?
Variators
Maybe the levels can have bonus relics that can add positives and negatives to the game so that it continues to feel interesting, funny, and challenging. For example, Outlast trials introduces an increasing number of negative variations per level, but allows you to choose positive variators to balance it out. Usually the level gains a number of negative variations, and each individual player chooses their own positive variator to help balance those negatives. Variators like this could add challenges as well as roles for players.

Figuring out a way to survive on the fly with my friends has never been this stressful. Watching them do the exact thing you told them not too is both funny as hell and miserable.
Dev is stuck up and thinks a skill issue explains why the game is not fun. it is very hard for no reason and the gameplay mechanics are bad. visual design is terrible. i ve played better games for 5 euros.
I wasn't expecting much but damn my friends and I enjoy this game- definitely makes you question your sanity when you're all dyslexic and big buckets of dumb- only gripe is the controls on Ouija board 8/10 would recommend
Everyone's complaining that it's too hard, but tbh my friends and I got through levels 1-8 relatively easily. Level 9 is in my opinion far harder than the rest. I really like the game, its a blast and a challenge. The only ghost that needs to be nerfed imo is the TURN ghost. It will say we're not looking at it, and it still kills us. Not sure what's up with that. Edit: Everyone's boycotting the dev for not wanting to change the base mechanics of the game and holding a firm boundary on that. I don't really see a problem with the base mechanics at all. Apparently steam reviews are the new reddit.
Upon playing this game for two hours, I can say some stuff. The game is decent, takes a minute to pick up and learn what you are doing. The in game camera feature & general game idea is something new and unseen in a game before. That being said.. The clutter on the menu screen is absurd, there is no reason to have a wall of text that is only removable by looking at something. The UI feels rushed and very cluttered, there is so much going on in the main menu UI it self it becomes nauseating to look at. Edit: The developer acts as a egotistical prick, unable to take any feedback & blames the players for their feedback. I will be refunding this game, as well as getting my friends to as well.
I haven't played thi game alot, however I do have a few things I want to say. First of all, This game is very fun, I have played me and 2 of my friends the first night and Immediatelly we made our own code to know when it's a yes, when it's a no and when we are getting hunted. The jumpscare really surprised me, honestly there was no where written (or atleast where I found) that there could be jumpscares, so I do suggest adding that for people who are not really good with jumpscares, even though the jumpscare isn't really scary it does come by a suprise which is understandable because it is a horror game. This game is pretty cool and I hope that when I'll finish the game, if I will finish the game with my friends, there will be new levels to try out :)
fun game with friend, tell friend wrong ghost, laugh.
My friends and I only encountered one bug during our playthrough, on the ghosts screen it said that the player was frozen aka not moving but still died when the time was up. Other than that we had no bugs! We are all excited for updates! 10/10 recommend this game. It was a blast to make up codes so the ghosts and the living could communicate,
big issue with the game is the Audio. whenever you die and become a ghost the Voice chat volume resets and you go death because everyone is so loud, good game tho
