Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Jul 30 → 3.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

From customer requests to store shenanigans, you’ll dive into a variety of cozy puzzles. Decode clues and hunt for the perfect music recommendation by browsing records, scrolling social media, and poring over local music zines. You might even find yourself running the lights for local bands, designing gig posters and packing orders!
Drop the needle on a stacked soundtrack featuring dozens of original tracks spanning across many genres, bands, and eras. Every song is crafted to feel like a nostalgic gem. From grimy basement bangers to dreamy indie deep cuts. It’s a playlist built to loop in your head long after you clock out.
Dig through crates packed with 80+ hand‑drawn albums, lovingly imagined bands, and liner note lore that rewards curiosity. Each record has its own personality, history, and fanbase. Did Scandinavian metal band Jarhead really murder their singer and put his head in a jar? Is it true big shot rapper RXXX used to be a kid's TV presenter? Has anyone ever seen Mimi?
Repeater Records is staffed and frequented by a rotating cast of eccentrics, music nerds, and chaotic regulars. Every character is bursting with personality, quirks, and questionable opinions about what “real music” is. Get to know them and enjoy their banter. They’re the soul of the shop after all!

Great game to chill out. The soundtrack is crazy and amazing! It's great to be able to take the time to think what record would fit each customer. Makes you diving into each band's lore, story, background... Loved it since day one. Highly recommended for those folks who love music.
Great game with unique characters, music and style. Love how much attention to detail and diversity is put into it.
Always dreamed of owning (or at least working in) a record store. This comes close, althoug it could have leaned more into developing your own "skills", it's a cozy and well-written narrative-puzzle game that I'd totally recommend to everyone who is into physical media at all. :)

Muito gostosinho, a lore é interessante. Há alguns bugs na arte que poderia concertar, mas fora isso é um jogo que recomentaria para pessoas que gostem de jogos passivos, calmos com lore rica.
Good!
A charming, engaging game. It's story is pretty standard for the genre, but it's polished to perfection, and the collection of songs you get to listen to while playing are all fantastic. Incredibly timely, will hit you harder than you expect.
Banda sonora original bastante buena y una historia que está bien, lo mejor del juego su mensaje, los detalles en los escenarios, discos y letras que hacen que este resalte más.
Really charming visual novel with find-what-the-customer-is-looking-for puzzles that are almost always well thought out. Nothing too fancy with the narrative, but the writing and worldbuilding around all the fictional bands is wonderful. Solid soundtrack is worth a pickup too!
Wax Heads is a fun, charming indie game with a great gameplay loop that you would think might get old quick, but I did not find that at all. Trying to figure out the customers actual requests and having a constantly rotating list of stock, which wove in story and worldbuilding elements from the game was great and made you actually have to pay attention to the game. The soundtrack was also fantastic, with a wide variety of made-up bands and artists that actually sounded really good (being able to que things up on the in-game player was great). Nice characters that really grew on you as well as a simple, yet interesting plotline kept the game's momentum going. After playing the demo for this game a few years ago I had high hopes, and I'm so glad I was not disappointed. A very much recommended indie game.
i am so obsessed with this game! you can truly tell how much love went into this game and how talented the team behind it are!! looking forward to whatever they create next <3
