About
Watch Grass Grow Simulator is a game about watching grass grow.
That’s the whole thing.
You load into a quiet space with a clear view and a patch of grass in front of you. No rush. Over the course of about eight real-world weeks, it changes, slowly enough that you’ll often wonder if it changed at all.
You start checking it more than you meant to. Just to be sure.
There’s nothing to manage and nothing you can do wrong. You just sit with it. Watch it. Notice how certain blades start to stand a little taller. How the patch looks fuller than it did before, even if you can’t quite say when that happened.
Once you notice it, it’s hard to stop noticing.
It’s calm and quiet and honestly a little difficult to explain to someone who hasn’t spent time with it. The game doesn’t demand attention, but it rewards patience in a very specific way. The longer you stay, the more certain you become that yes, it is different now.
If you see it through to the end, the result is unmistakable. You’ll remember what it looked like at the beginning. You’ll know how long you waited.
I don’t think there was another way this could have worked.

GOTY (Grass Of The Year). I want my money back.
i was lost for months, my body was in a state of paralysis, i couldn't even blink. while playing i could hear a faint ringing in the inside of my ear. my friend tried to knock me out of what seemed to be a state of udder emotionless pain, but his attempts was to no avail. finally i had beaten the game and i was free, but i would never be the same again. my friend has decide to do some research on what had happened to me on his own. he had downloaded the game himself. he wanted to find out what had happened to me while i was in a state of paralysis and terror. but immediately, he could feel his sense of self getting sucked into a blackhole. his soul getting reduced to ones and zero's. 1010, 1001, 1000, 111, 110, 101, 100, 11, 10, 1, 0... he had brought us over incase he reached the same state i was in. we pulled the plug. and although he thanks us for saving him, he hasnt been the same since. even today if he walks past grass. he stops blinking, talking, breathing...
I lost my friend to this game for months, he wouldn't accept my calls he wouldn't stop playing this game, I tried to come over and knock him out of it but it was to no avail. finally he has beaten the game and he is now free, I decided to do some research and I download the game myself. I wanted to get to the bottom of this mystery. but immediately I could the sensation come over myself. I had my other friends ready to pull the plug. And I owe my life to them...
I absolutely love this beautiful game. I bought it because I thought it was a funny, nonsensical premise, but it's actually calming and quieting. The music is soothing and is nice to just have playing in the background. I wasn't expecting the game to be so pretty with different things going on (besides watching the grass grow)! I would definitely recommend this game to anyone with a sense of humor, or anyone who just wants a little zen in their lives. Totally worth it.
