Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Sep 14 → 0.17/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

DISCLAIMBER: This is a very angry review, I also had to install the normal version of the game and play it for 10 minutes if I wanted to review the DC version which I have 47 hours in. With that out of the way... I had an incredibly long and detailed essay which I wasn't even sure was gonna fit in a steam review, on why I think Wasteland 2 is not a good game which I spent about two hours writing and going into explicit details what I thought brought the game down for me, using flowery prose, language and detailed examples but I lost all my progress and frankly, I really do not feel like rewriting all of that. It was a passion project that I lost the passion for after losing all progress on it once it was finished. So instead of even bothering the futile action of rewriting that ridiculously long review I'll just summarize the points as bluntly and crudely as possible. 14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 10: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Truly the best RPG from 2014. While the game is very hard, especially on your first playthrough, it is very entertaining.
this and wasteland 3 are the closest things to fallout 3 we're gonna get
For the little time I`ve played it, it looks like a great game, very enjoyable if you`re into the old Fallout style. Even when it constantly crashes to desktop, it reminds me of those old cool games. A time when there where almost no patches to correct game crashing bugs like these... Sad.
If you are looking for a game where you can kill priests and nuns, as well as make friends with civilized cannibals, this is the game for you. Otherwise, well ... some funny gags, a bit of plot, but not as good as People write (of course, the plot is better than the one in fallout 4, but it's a poor achievement.) You know what? I apologize. I appreciate the input and work of developers, but those "bad" priests and nuns really got to me. I bought the game just when in Syria and Iraq they began mass murdering Christians. If in the game I had to shoot Jewish Rabbis or Buddhist Monks, I would also be very disgusted. I understand that the "Wasteland 2" refers to the first part, and Wasteland 1 was designed at a time when we thought mass murders were a thing of the past. And yet the disgust remained.
Играется очень живо даже в 2022 году. Прошел игру аж за 63 часа на одном дыхании, оторваться было невозможно. С удовольствием рекомендую к покупке, учитывая что на распродажах игра стоит копейки.
This is a somewhat fun RPG, but it has major design flaws, such as a scenario whose difficulty is about 10x difficulty of the surrounding area and is guaranteed to result in a web search + trial and error reload exercise. Would definitely stay away from this one.
Excelent game, even after 12 years. There are so many ways to solve the challenges in the game that it feels immersive and like an actual world you can use your creativity for problem solving, with not much hand holding and yellow paint. The percentages are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ btw but it's fine you get used to it.
It starts well, but only that. I really wanted to like this game, I mean it. After so many years waiting for a game which could carry on the torch of old Fallout games, Wasteland 2 came as a promising one. Off course I know all the story involving the IP, which led Interplay to create Fallout, so this is not the point of my review. Wasteland 2 has good graphical and sound design, which is key for immersion in this post-apocalyptic RPG world. The RPG game system is a masterpiece, just like the old Fallout games. If you get to play this game, you will laugh out loud of today’s adventure games which claim to have RPG elements. They are a joke. The initial 2 to 3 hours of game play have that good RPG vibe. So, what is the issue with Wasteland 2? Some people will say the forced situation to push you to make hard choices and sacrifice some to save others. Don't worry, no spoil here. I got to say this really didn't bother me. It's a game design feature, and if well used it can be quite fun. For myself, the problem with Wasteland 2 is that it relies too much in the story set up by Wasteland 1. Way too much. I've expected this game to put something new to the table in terms of story and world development, but the game really falls short in this side, and get boring after a while. As an example I can quote the amount of information related to the Rangers' (specially Vargas) background, which you can read thru the game, but not enough about some followers we find along the way. It's wasted potential here, as some of the followers look quite interesting, and have more relevance to the game play than the Citadel Rangers. I've played thru the first part of the game a few times (vanilla + DC), trying different approaches to situations, recruiting everyone I could, talking to everyone, exploring as much as I could to try to find something interesting. I've tried to find something which could push me forward to explore more and find more about this post-apocalyptic world. Key point for an RPG game is to get the player engaged. Unfortunately, many of the areas are forgettable, NPC’s are boring, and story arcs are uninteresting. It looks to me the objective of this first part of the game is to get you involved with the “Wasteland folk”, so the stakes get higher when you got to take the hard decisions to save the world. This doesn’t happen. Pulling story arcs from Wasteland 1 and pushing it thru Wasteland 2 was a bad decision, as many players never played Wasteland 1, so the NPC’s back story feel pointless loose ends. On the top of that, shadows don't work on the Director's Cut version of the game, forcing you to turn them off if you don't want to have very annoying stuttering at some areas. Some people might say this is not a big deal, well... each one is entitle to an opinion, but to me it's immersion breaking. Another anoying thing, which is also quite immersion breaking, is the "encounter beggins" screen at the begining of every combat. It pulls you out of the game. Give a try if you want, but be aware it's a game with many flaws. I still do prefer playing Fallout 1, even with the dated graphics, even with all its flaws.
