Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 15 → 1.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Absolutely! This game is phenomenal. The first ~15 missions ease you in gently, introducing mechanics and tactics at a comfortable pace. But after that, things get serious. The AI doesn’t always pick the mathematically perfect move, but its behavior is clearly strategy‑driven. It retreats, baits, and only avoids trades when it would lose units for nothing. Otherwise, it will trade — and with good logistics and repairs you can hold a position near a factory and start snowballing. But the AI has special abilities to break your momentum. If you position poorly, a single enemy ability can wipe out your advantage and force a full retreat. The good news is: you can bait those abilities too. And you also have your own special ability to counter specific AI tactics. There’s plenty of room for both tactical and strategic decision‑making, and the game rewards players who think ahead, adapt, and manage their resources well.

Downvoting because of how enraged the UI design made me, wasting hours of my time having to restart long missions. Need Hotfix Immediately for... 1) CO Power is right next to the End Turn with no confirm button in a tiny menu. Ended my turn accidentally too many times while going to check the target of my power. 2) They chose to have units end their turn once moved, instead of traditional move-then-decide-which-action (like "wait or attack"). Too many times moved units next to enemy to attack, but just stood there because of the instinctive habit of the genre to do so first. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, both of these actions induce a mini-heart attack feeling every single time they occur as you have just ruined the current plan if not entire battle by this simple click. Otherwise, gameplay and style are very nice. A hybrid between Advance Wars and War Groove in mechanics. It is scratching that itch for some more Advance Wars for me. That said... AI is dumb as rocks even on Brutal. Sometimes it even just skipped turn endlessly. Campaign missions are nice to go through and provide decent challenge, but too often just bottleneck slaughter the bad AI for value enough to win. The writing is mediocre to cringe, had to start skipping it and get straight to the gameplay. Really, I will change my rating to thumbs up if they remedy the two things mentioned that rip me right out of the game and discourage me from playing and wasting my time for the dumbest reason.
For something that is supposed to be an "Advance Wars" successor, the game feels lacklustre and dare I say... Terrible... (This is my thoughts from playing skirmish alone and no where else) Cons: You cant repair at or near cities. Repair can only be done at respected factories (Which means its a far drive all the way back just to repair). Faction specific Units. Some COs similar Powers. No Upbeat CO music when using CO powers. CO and Faction music doesn't loop, making it quiet and eerie. Some sound effects cut off a little too early. Base capture is done like how "Wargroove" does it, but at least in that game you can heal from them at the cost of weakening the Base. Some CO powers are lacklustre or broken. You cant Couch Multiplayer, meaning there is only one "human" at any given time. There is no ammo/fuel resupply feature so resource management isn't a thing. During an AI turn, you aren't allowed to see the AIs COs power meter OR current funds as a UI (like how you can see your own). There is no Skirmish settings when picking a map, which means you cant do: * Fog of War * Starting funds * Funds multiplier * CO powers enabled * Co-op enabled * Teams Pros: Smart AI. Graphics & Quality. Medics. Friends who would actually play it for a round or two before loosing interest Can be Alt+F4 at a pinch.

Game is fun but essentially unplayable unless I pick up a controller. I play games on windowed mode and without a controller, there is no way to move the camera aside from moving the mouse to the edges of the screen. There is no option to lock the mouse to the window either, so you can't reliably edge pan on windowed mode. Will revise review only if an alternative method is added to move the camera (e.g. arrow keys, WASD, middle mouse drag, anything). EDIT (response to developer response): Cursor locking to the window would be one way to make this game playable for windowed users, but yes ideally it would be better if the game could be playable without forcing cursor locking, e.g. by having some camera move keybind like the right stick currently does on the controller. EDIT 2: Changed review to recommended due to addition of option to lock cursor to screen. Not the ideal solution (would still have been nice to have keyboard camera control), but at least the game is playable now. May write a proper review at some point in future.
