Not without it's flaws but the multiplayer can be quiet good if people use it. Pretty balanced. Based in mk 2 feels like mk 4 these days.

An excellent translation of my favorite tabletop war game. If you like Warmachine, I highly recommend playing the campaign of this. It's a fun story.
Wish I could, But game is unfinished and left to rot

I backed the Kickstarter, as I was really into the tabletop game. The initial trailer made it seem like a W40k Space Marine run-n-gun which could have been really cool. When I learned it'd changed to be more like the tabletop game, I was still hyped. When the game landed, oh boy did the hype disappear faster than a Cryx Stalker with Mobility. Games can take well over an hour because you need to select every single model & do everything with it, then onto the next one and so on, down the list. Then the computer gets to go & rather than Civ, where it will get it over & done with in seconds, you're treated to the excruciating pick model, move model, watch model do its slow movement, wait for it to shoot or melee, camera pans over to the next model, rinse & repeat for its whole army - model by model by model... The campaign is s l o w going. You had better win, otherwise when you lose you have to repeat the whole. mission. over. again. because saving mid-game is for chumps, apparently. No game has ever made me feel my ebbing mortality like this game. You really feel like you just burned an hour of your life in a way that you couldn't extract any enjoyment from, thanks to the randomness of dice rolls and if you slip up once, the game will cook you for it. I really wanted to like it but this game burned my fingers from supporting any more Kickstarters. if you want a good Warmachine experience you're better off playing the tabletop version.
not my type of game
