This is a pretty good game. I payed 25 euros for it and it damn well made up for it. First of all, I am very biased. This is the game I watched my father play when I was a toddler and part of my core memories is him burning tyranids in a dark corridor. That being said, no amount of Bias is enough to say how good this game is (or at least was for it's price). I wasn't fast enough to get the mobile OG Version, but I can see that this was a port. Regardless, it's awesome, no Microtransactions, great gameplay and the only things i would say are "bad" about it is the music and maybe the marines moving a bit too slow. That being said, The gameplay is fun and the live banter between your marines is pretty fun (+ the voice acting is very good). If you have a key or some way to get this game, i'd highly recommend it

****** English Version: Warhammer 40,000: Deathwatch is an excellent turn-based game that perfectly captures the grim and brutal atmosphere of the Warhammer 40K universe. Each mission is a tactical challenge that demands planning, positioning, and careful resource management. The turn-based system is well-crafted and offers a good variety of approaches, especially thanks to the ability to customize and level up your Space Marines. Personally, it brought back memories of intense sessions with Space Crusade on my old Commodore 64. There’s something about the mission structure, squad management, and claustrophobic setting that gave me the same adrenaline rush. I'm sorry they didn't make DLC for this game, as it would have been nice to see the Death Watch fight other races from the WH40K universe. In this game, you only fight Tyranids (and they're not easy opponents). The weapon collection system is laborious, very long and tiring. Highly recommended for fans of turn-based strategy and anyone who wants an immersive and faithful experience in the grimdark of the 41st millennium.
Suffer not the alien to live!
There is no point in reviewing this game because it's no longer for sale and never will be again. However: Deathwatch is a cool idea for a game that's ruined by horrible pacing, an awful progression system, terrible grindiness, way overtuned difficulty, and loads of jank. It was designed for microtransactions that have been removed for PC and replaced with nothing. I want to like it so badly, but it's just bad.
brilliant little turn-based game - hidden gem
Chainsword go BRRRRRRRRR
Well, at the moment game is no longer available on Steam - as far as I know due to licencing problems (I got it myself by redeeming some ancient humble bundle code). Nevertheless I can put a few good words about the game. Overal reception is good. Game is not very complicated. Some solutions could have been better, but game is nearly 10 years old and is port from mobile, which explains some problems. Pro game: +quite simple tactical game + lot of equipments options and marines options, from tacttical through devastators to apothecaries (I did not get one yet, but already dropped some equipment for this class) +possibility of developing team by repeating earlier, more simple missions + system of advancing the marines, with simple system of perk and traits as well as improving their stats. What is on minus: - game is port from mobile, minus microtransactions. This mean, that to get one box with equipment and new marines you have to play five missions (each gives 20 money with box costing 100). Ofc. as I said above - this has some advantages, byt in the long run might be simple boring and frustrating. - assault marines - in normal games they have advantages of jet pack. Here they are just infantry with good melee skills - and so far nothing convinced me, that better to have assault marine with pistol and solid h2h weapon than tactical with some high level bolter. - system of managing the team and equipment is simple (due to mentioned port from mobile) but due to this is a bit cumbersome, starting from managing equipment (there is no mention that some eq is specific for some class, you have to find it yourself) to managing squad (you can swap marines only on mission screen). - screwed up achievements - this is for me most serious problem - about half achievements does not work - starting from simple "end chapter 1" through "play mission with one chapter only". And this is something that would not change due to withdrawal of the game from Steam. Nevertheless game is fast, simple and there is always a few minutes to play single mission.
неплохая игрулька, приятно было наблюдать диалоги бойцов из разных фракций
