In Dawn of War II: Chaos Rising you will take command of the Blood Ravens and defend the sector against the Chaos Space Marines of the Black Legion. Purge the Chaos filth and hold the chapter together as traitorous forces work from within to try bring down the Blood Ravens.

I haven't played many missions so I may come back to this review as I progress. For the moment it's a hard recommendation since you have to waste time torubleshooting issues before you can play. If the game doesn't launch for you, download the profile.dll from Github, this will limit your active cores for this game: https://github.com/maximumgame/DOW2CoreFix you need to go to SteamApps > Dawn of War 2 > Install and install the directX and other installers.
better the DOW2 on its own well worth it

Dawn of War 2 is a very fun game and a classic to boot. If you love 40k, this game is for you.
I read a lot of negative reviews telling that this game is worse than the first part in every possible way. I didn't play the first part. I only played Dawn of War II and its dlc Chaos Rising. They are not perfect but imo they are hardly as bad as many say. You don't build anything, you command several units/heroes whose weapons and armor you upgrade and they have skill trees. The storyline is interesting enough to play through. I didn't have many bugs, just a two or three which weren't critical. The game is not 8-10/10 and it's not 5/10 neither. Maybe 7/10 if you do not expect too much.
Peak, 10/10. The game knows what it wants to be and nails it in every way.
Phenomenal game, still holds up all these years later. If you are a fan of Warhammer 40K this game is a must play.
The game does not work and crash on launch
ориг игра не очень была в плане кампании сюжет филлер очередной про тиранидов, а chaos reign супер пиздатая особенно понравилась вариативность прохождения и концовки разные
