OK here goes. First the basics. Download is 2.26 gb, you gain 961 steam points for purchase. Current price is £7.04 After starting up the initial loading screen is very slow, but does finally make it there. You are then presented with a huge box (later determined to be the tutorial) that doesn't appear to fit the screen. There is no options menu anywhere so changing resolution is a no go. This box reads "WELCOME TO WAREHOUSE TYCOON" and underneath that "NEXT ---->". This was my initial issue with the game as the "next" appears to be pointing to a button i assumed was off screen. After clicking everything that looks like it could possibly remove the box and getting nowhere i almost gave up there. However after clicking 20 or so times i eventually dragged the mouse across the screen which seemed to advance to the next page, so i did that 8 or 9 more times and finally i'm in the game. Now you're in your tiny warehouse, there's a van outside it, and a laptop inside it. Tried clicking the laptop 20 times, nothing. Eventually figures you have to click the text that says laptop (or van or whatever). Boots up laptop, there's a few tabs (6 i think) the bank tab and files tab have text overlaps in them, and are hard to read or use. Also the bill pay section is the bank tab does not work at all, so you can not pay your bills and receive emails everyday complaining and fining you. After leaving the warehouse to check out the van another box pops up telling me i have low fps, would i like to boost it. High end pc vs low graphic game, pretty sure i'm not the issue here, but ok. Tries to click yes, no go. Try to click no, you guessed it, no joy. not actually sure how i got rid of the box, just mega clicked for about 90 seconds until it went away. Time also goes by really fast, a day lasts maybe 2 minutes, which is not a lot of time to buy stuff, store it and sell it on for profit before tomorrows bills get emailed through. Admittedly i only played for about 30 mins, so as for late game content i don't know. From what i can see you're pretty much just repeating the video over and over with the same 3 or 4 towns, but again, i could be wrong. What i do know is that i hoped this game was going to be really good. 30 mins was enough to make me turn it off. Take from that what you will. Hope this helps.
Good concept, bad execution. Its a shame, i was excited for this game :(
Pro
+ Long-term motivation + Realistic + many Tasks + relaxed Music + easy to learn + good Controls + Tutorial
Contra
- outdated Graphics - long loading Times - price little to high
Conclusion
Warehouse Tycoon offers you a realistic Simulator, which lets you get a Taste of the Tasks of a Logistician. However, the game looks kind of unfinished, but that doesn't Spoil the Fun. PS: First of all, many thanks to the developer who made this key available to us for the group. Here you can find more good reviews from others and me at https://store.steampowered.com/curator/26335619-Adult-World-Gamers/.
Pro
+ Langzeitmotivation + Realistisch + viele Aufgaben + entspannte Musik + leicht zu lernen + gute Steuerung + Tutorial
Kontra
- veraltete Grafik - lange Ladezeiten - Preis nicht passend
Fazit
WTF is that? That, what you see on the Screens, is the whole "Game" - 2 Gigs of nothing! No sense, no Logistic, no steering, no 'gaming', this is just the start of trying programing somewith with grafic and mouse. If i was a programer i even wouldn't pay users to see this pre-pre-alpha of sometime. DONT BUY THIS, please! Take this money and support your local Pizza delivery! They know their bussiness and what is money worth. This, for 8 Euro? My personal fail of the month, sorry. EcoGame, i know ever start is hard, but life is it too. There are other ways to earn money, let ppl pay for this is just ruining your name even befor it becomes a name. Refund us, visite a school for programing and come back later again
Good Concept, Bad Execution! Price point way to high for what you get, no option to adjust game settings, large download for minor game to name a few. While all that sounds harsh I am trying to point out the obvious so that future updates will move the game in the right direction. Playing for only 30 minutes doing delivers and nothing change except the amount you gain from the contracts or how much you pay when you can't deliver. Oh yes, your Rent and Power bills increase but nothing else changes for those things. Not to mention the game is very repetitive and never changes. Till I see improvement or add-ons I will say do not BUY THIS GAME!
Do you know how to program in Lua? Are you bummed by this game not being as good as it should be? message me. I recommend the game, however only if you know how to program either in Lua or are willing to learn so that you can fix his glitches and crappy programming and make it better. Half of my play-time is due to me fixing the game and running it over and over again. Again, message me if you're interested in helping me fix this because the developer is never touching it again.
In it's current state, I can't recommend buying this game since I can't play it. I'll be happy to update this review accordingly when/if it's updated and is playable. When I launch the game and click new game, while loading it will trigger a 'not responding' window, then it will stay stuck at a "NEXT" screen despite clicking next... I can appreciate the effort by this indie developer, but this should have spent more time in the oven. Hopefully this title is updated and I can come back and update my review accordingly. If functional, I can imagine this being a fun title to play during downtime at my job. Take care!
Foreword
It's hard to review Warehouse Tycoon. The game is as raw and prototype-y as it gets, and the price point for what is there along with the Steam Curator distributed keys feels extra confusing. I'll bite. Hard.
Intro
Warehouse Tycoon is about running a Warehouse where you buy low and sell high. You buy goods (like Food, Shoes and Tools) from nearby cities, and later get into Delivery Contracts to sell said goods at a profit. The goal of the levels is to buy out a competitor Warehouse, a goal that gets more and more expensive the longer you take to make that money. The very basic concept itself is more reminiscent of trading games like Port Royale 3 than your average Tycoon game.
The Conceptually Interesting

Good Concept: You can't go wrong with "Buy Low, Sell High". It's the core concept of many games.
Sits close to interesting ideas: Owning some business and getting to wërk is the base idea of many successful Simulator-genre games (like House Flipper).
Interesting perspective for a trading game: Trading games often have you be a god-like entity, playing like an RTS (Offworld Trading Company). Or, they do include you as a character, but the game is much more about your possessions (X4 Foundations). The isometric perspective with a playable character running around his little warehouse, messing with his laptop, and getting in his van to work is actually pretty cool and always fun of untapped potential. A game with similar perspective which includes some trading is Landinar: Into the Void.
Good attempt for a first project: Hoping and assuming this is a first project by a novice/amateur and not a weird rushed asset flip, the game is a good attempt at a first early access commercial project. It is not marked as Early Access, however, which makes it all weirder.

The Worrysome Issues

Unexplicably large file size: The game download is around 1.3GB, and takes about 2.3GB of space when installed. The explanation is likely a novice developer importing tons of unnecessary assets and packages to his project, and not minding compression and quality configurations, along with other build settings. Never a good sign - get the basics down first.
No Settings Menu: Prevents changing the resolution or lowering the rather repetitive ambient sounds.
Ultra-wide Resolution bugs out: Everything is out of place on a ultra-wide monitor, making it barely playable.
Limiting Camera and Warehouse bounds: Although the perspective was a good idea, the camera is very limited in its operation, and the warehouse has invisible walls around it in order to force you to use the van to go to the overmap.
Needs much Quality-of-Life patching: The operations you do in towns and in the warehouse are simple enough that the interface could be greatly streamlined and assigned to hotkeys. Makes little sense to have to click each single inventory item on each single window for everything, when the tasks to be accomplished are always the same. Making things very fast-paced could help hide shallow mechanics or designs - just like in the movies!
Buy Low-Sell High rarely works without some economy: The game doesn't make much sense, as it seems to always be worth buying and always worth selling. If for some reason it isn't, it's due to a bad roll of random numbers. There's no 'game' here if all there's to it is running around clicking incessantly.
Paint-style graphics and seemingly stock assets: I'm not one to judge games by their graphics, but doing anything with free or asset-store bought assets to give it any personal touch towards your game goes a long way to convincing the public that you care about your project and audience.
Crazy high price point: Unless you're feeling like it, it's pretty insane for anyone to ditch out 10.99 USD on a prototype in a time where the current most popular games range from 10 to 25 USD. Would be understable as an Early Access game.

Conclusion
Avoid, unless a roadmap is provided and big sales are announced. I can try to give it another shot if someone tells me something else happens at later levels, but my time with it made me feel pretty confident it doesn't. The constant clicking and repetition wears me down too fast. Sorry if this one felt bad. Highs and lows are core concepts of life. Thanks for reading! You can't even play the game. The size resolution make is useless. Can't even start the game since I can't hit the continue button. Save your money until they actually put out a usable game. Am asking for a refund.
The game does not even load, no matter how long i let it try.
