Wandshot

honestly this is a pretty neat concept for a puzzle platformer :> don't really think i've seen anything like this before

I love this little gem of a game and highly recommend it. It's different to a lot of the games I've played recently, which gave it extra charm for me. It is a retro 2D platform puzzle game. You are a little princess using your wand to shoot yourself around the screen. There are lots of obstacles and soooo many spikes!!! The music that accompanies it is brilliant. I wish I could have it as a ring tone or alarm for my phone. There are several worlds each with their own theme and new mechanics. It is an easy game to play but a devilishly hard game to master. You can gain crowns in each level for completing it, your speed and number of 'wandshots' it has taken you to complete. A really nice feature is if you get stuck on a level, and you will at some point, you can skip to the next level as you always have three open levels. The princess looks super cool whizzing around the screen and the sound and visual effect from firing your wand is awesome. I would highly recommend people of any age playing this game. For older people you will get the retro feel of the 80s and for young people with faster reflexes you will get the satisfaction of collecting crowns and completing trophies. You can play for any amount of time completing a level or trying to beat your previous best. So it is great for dipping in and out of. Would love more games like this one.

Awesome game. Music, sprites, everything made by one person in only a few months. Great level design and some really fun and smooth screens. I would recommend Wandshot to anyone who enjoys 2D platformers. :)
