The game is quite fun actually, I'm surprised. The platforming is not super great, but the flying mechanic is super fun and the characters are cute and the environment is very alive and adorable too.
I followed the developer and really happy he finished his game! That being said, this could've used more polish and tweaking in multiple areas. Pros: * Nice wholesome world that is easy to explore. * Mechanics that I feel are unique with flying. * Simple objective for the game's main character. * Trophies were easy to achieve just by playing the game. Cons: * NPCs are irrelevant and lifeless. The dialogue isn't more than a Hi/Hello/HowAreYou/Goodbye. And the minions/bosses are random. They appear on different islands attacking, we can help and destroy them or just walk past the minions so it's not really worth it. * Gameplay on paper seems fun. But gliding feels like it goes from 0 to 100 with not great depth perception on where you'll land or how much you slow down. It would be nice having a bigger shadow to know where exactly you'll land. I also had issues trying to glide onto pillars that would go up and down on a timer, it felt like you had to do it perfectly in order to get on the ledge before it went back up. * There doesn't seem like that much incentive to grab the collectibles in terms of gameplay or story. * There are glitches in the game that you'll be able to go through cracks like towards the end of the game where you can go through and reach the end of the level. By doing so you can attack the crab boss without it fighting back and it will count it as a victory. If you go through the way you'll supposed to right after, you'll find it's lifeless body in pieces. I know how hard it is making a game, and doing so alone on a game this big I commend the developer and don't regret my purchase. It was a fun 2.5 hours despite some of my grievances. This game could be so much better if they had a small team to help split the load on development or more testing.

Maybe the most relaxing platformer I've ever played, right up there with A Short Hike. The calming music, chill atmosphere, and snappy controls all contribute to a very well polished, fun game. I thoroughly enjoyed my time gliding around the different areas in this world and whipping my tail at everything in sight. Smashing stuff is very satisfying. I beat the core game in about 2.5 hours, but missed a handful of hazelnuts and a few golden peanuts. I definitely plan to go back and 100% the game, loved it!
