Interesting game, here's some key-points I liked and disliked: Liked: 1) The butterfly is pretty cool 2) You actually have to look around, think and explore a bit to find stuff 3) The audio is awesome and atmospheric 4) The riddles have some interesting feedback to help you along 5) The teleportation didnt make me sick at all. Actually, it felt super comfortable! Even jumping around on platforms a lot didnt seem awkward. Disliked: 1) Sometimes it was a bit hard to judge distances, e.g. when trying to throw stuff into hoops (although throwing stuff was fun) 2) Some riddles were a bit on the harder side, might be offputting for some people who're not into these kinds of games 3) The lighting on top of the second room seemed a bit bright 4) I'd have liked the butterfly to appear more in the second room as well All in all this reminded me a bit of "The Witness". I'm a fan of atmospheric puzzle games so I liked this one. People who like Escape the Room games in real life and other puzzle oriented stuff will for sure be interested in this. Also, again, the soundtrack was really cool and some of the puzzles were really interesting :))

I have played through this game within a few hours and have to say that I can whole heartedly recommend the game. Plus: + Interesting creative level design, which captures the essence of escape the room games and adds wacky VR elemements to it + Difficulty was absolutely ok for me, newer players might find a few puzzles a bit more challenging + The game is entirely FREE to play!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cons: - Game has currently 4 instances, I hope some more will be added in the future I really urge everyone to give this awesome game a chance and I hope the developers will receive the community praise they deserve for this game!
_____________8__88_____8 ____________88_8__8_____8 ___________888_____88___88888 __________8888______88_8____88 _________8888_______88______8_8 _________8888_______88______8_8 _________8888_______8_______8 _________8888_____8_______8 __________88888____8______8 ___________8888888______8 __888_________88888_8 8888888________88_____ _8888888_______8_____ __888888_______88_____ ___88_____8_____8_____ ____8______8____8_____8_88 _______8888_8__88_8_88888 _____888888_8_88__8888888 ____8888888__88______88888 ____88888_____8_________888 ____88_________8__________8 _____8_________8_____ _______________8_____ ____________8_8_____ _____________88_8_____ ______________88_____ ______________8_____
Yes it's free... but it wasn't that fun. Awkward puzzles. If you can afford VR - you probably can afford a few good paid games, and if that's the case... well yeah... you should be playing those games instead of this one. I can't really advocate this game as the best use of your time ;)
The game is not terrible but there are plenty of better free VR games out there so this isn't worth your time. The experience can be summed up as a storyless and aimless romp through floating platforms and some obnoxious throwing "puzzles".
This is a nice dreamy puzzler game that takes a bit of observation. It worked fine on Oculus Rift with touch controllers. If you are running an updated Windows 10 machine, the floor may appear at eye level due to the need to update the Unreal engine. You can fix this issue by: 1) Setting Compatibility mode to "Windows 7" on WakeUpProject.exe and WakeUpProject\Binaries\Win64\WakeUpProject-Win64-Shipping.exe, and 2) Run SteamVR before running WakeUp
Cannot recommend under current conditions: As per another reviewer there seem to be is a black bar when the logo shows up then a white bar across the screen which turns out to be the object with the pyramidal shape with a circle and a red butterfly. It shows right at the beginning of the game when standing (the game specs in Steam mention standing or room scale) and controls do not seem to do anything other than the button that triggers hand movement. Experienced on: Oculus Rift with Touch on Windows 10 64-bit using Intel i7-960 paired with 12GB RAM and NVIDIA 780 GTX’S in SLI (SLI was disabled when testing this game).
