Wagers of War - мертвая ККИ. As much as I like this game (as much as I can like it with only playing the tutorial) I can't recommend it I waited almost a half hour for a match before giving up and there's no campaign so without more players the games a little useless
Wagers of War is a pretty neat game that's built on the card game called 'War". You draw against your opponent until 6 or so rounds pass and then get into a war unless you draw matching cards which starts a war immediately. During the war part each player secretly chooses what cards they want to play based on how much many they have and what they think will work best against their enemy. When everyone is finished choosing their cards or the timer ends, everything plays out and you see the results. It all works out pretty well, the drawing phase is actually quite boring but it's how you gather mana and I think they know that part is a little boring because they added an option to autoplay it, which I always use. The strategy is decent but there is a bit of luck involved too as you have to try to predict what cards they will use and how to counter them while at the same time trying to line up your best possible attack. I really enjoy the war part of this, the strategy involved gets more interesting the more you play and when you've figured out what all the cards do and how to best use them. As for the pay model in this game it seems very much like it's based on saving time, you can buy packs with earned gold or buy gold to buy packs. Nothing pay to win detected at all, and that's always nice to see. The graphics and animation are very nice in this game although it does look better on mobile than on PC and that's mainly because on PC the game is a vertical strip down the center of your screen, obviously meant for mobile. It works fine, I just wish the developers were able to set up a nicer look for on PC but it really doesn't matter all that much. This is also available on your cell phone or tablet and I actually have been playing it on my phone. You are able to link your phone game with your PC game in a neat way and it works great. I was playing this in my hot tub outside and it was very enjoyable. It's a decent game for sure and pretty fun if you play a couple matches at a time. I wouldn't sit down for an entire day to play this but it's the type of thing that I can easily play a match or two every day and be happy with. Each match generally lasts between 10 and 15 minutes with some exceptions. Give it a shot if you like card games, it's pretty cool.

Thiis game is neat. 7.5/10 only issue is that it occasionally bugs out mid match freezing progression :/ I''m sure theyll fix it, but for now its annoying. try it out - its easy to get into and is free.
I usually play for a long time (or until I finish it) any game, that I am about to review, especially if the review is likely to turn negative. So why the negative for Wages of War just after 30 minutes in-game (43, including some experiments, writing this review)? Well, for the very simple reason, that after finishing tutorial my only option was to play a ranked match... and for 5 minutes at 2 P.M. on Saturday there wasn't any player to play against. Additionally, the cancel ranked match button didn't work (seems for some reason at times it doesn't - experimenting a bit, it worked 2 out of 4 times) and with the tutorial finished I was still getting the info, that I need to finish my training, before having any other option, but to repeat the tutorial or fight a ranked match. I can't even say, if this game has or doesn't have any way for a single-player. In addition to ranked match there seems to be something called arena... but it's locked for me, and I'm not willing to wait for hours (not even sure, how many ranked battles I would have to fight to unlock it) to make sure, that it's also currently unplayable. It's so dismaying, that so many of small indie devs, creating online games, do not realize, that they need to implement a decent environment for people to play them also alone, making it impossible even for dedicated players to rebuild the community, if it happens to collapse... which usually with those games happens after a few initial weeks/months.
An extremely novel idea, combining traditional card game with collectible card game. Unfortunately, it has mobile game level of pay to win. Its such a shame, because the game is incredibly interesting and fresh, but it doesn't matter because there isn't a shred of competitive integrity to be had. Please just stop with the pay to win, make the gaming industry better, not worse.
