VTuber Connect

TLDR: Mixed feelings. It's long, lots of intense yapping back and forth between 2 characters, pretty art, appreciation of VTubing as a whole, [spoiler] random ass mention of sexual material being made of VTuber and masturbation that felt very off [/spoiler] Very mixed with my review as though this did have amazing background art and character design and did touch on amazing themes and topics, it did go on and on about the same idea over and over and felt somewhat unrealistic for two university students to be talking about with such intensity and vocabulary. There were times where I legit just wanted to skip past the dialogue out of boredom of repeated ideals being rephrased time and time again, but other times where I was super appreciative of certain head-spaces and issues being discussed in different lights. It was harder for me to read through a lot of this since I was already aware of most things discussed, but for others that are not aware of many of the issues faced by both characters it can be a great way to spread awareness and even some positive advice with said challenges. There were some moments that felt badly timed or kinda off, especially a random moment (spoilers / sexual content slightly mentioned) [spoiler] after the main character, Shouma, finds out Makoto is Mana, he starts asking questions here and there about VTubing and the experience for her as a whole. He asks how she feels about fans making sexually explicit media of her VTuber model and her answer felt like it was brushed off so fast and nonchalant. Then she asked if he masturbated to her model then went back to their normal conversation like it never even happened. It just felt so odd and out of place in the context and place of their relationship at the time. [/spoiler] All in all, I think some will appreciate the "overcoming hurdles" type of story and some wont. And that's fine, this is a more "niche" love letter project as it's shooting for more of a VTuber / more online audience (not ♥♥♥♥-talking I am chronically online myself). It's one of those things you'll feel out after 30 minutes or so to see if its "your thing".

10/10 uma história incrivel que fez eu chorar litros e refletir sobre minha vida, não se dizer se esse jogo mudará alguma coisa, mas certamente pensarei nas coisas que foram ditas aqui, super recomendo esse jogo, até mesmo para pessoas que não consomem conteudos de Vtubers, eu particularmente só vejo uns clipes na internet de vez em quando, mas nunca me conectei com nenhum Vtuber, mas esse jogo surpreendentemente se conectou comigo mesmo eu não esperando nada dele, uma história muito bem escrita e com uma ótima mensagem, o tipo de experiencia que vc tem que terminar no mesmo dia que começar

A thought provoking story about being an online influencer. Specifically V-tubers. Music is peaceful, art beautiful, and the story moving.

Well I just finished this game just a moment or two ago. While it doesn't have a super awesome ending to me the story is honestly just incredible. It's a free game that I would truly recommend for anyone to try. It shows battling with mental health is such a good way that i just can't deny honestly. Almost had me crying at some times.

It's pretty short, but it really relayed the message it wanted to share in a good manner.
