cool seeing the wreck!
Life-long Titanic fan. This isn't really a game, per-se... But it is certainly an experience. I've long-adored the paintings of Ken Marschall, but this is something else entirely. I do not know what I would call this, but it feels like a living memorial, and it is thoroughly eerie. There have been moments in the dark where I felt chills as I stared up at a virtual wall of steel with a new and awesome kind of appreciation for this legendary ship and story. It's very easy to run down the length of the hull and imagine putting your hand out to feel the ship. It's dark, it's quiet, and I don't think I expected to feel so alone. Magellan - thank you.

Magellan's 3D scan of the famous Titanic wreck is an epic simulation! Now, anyone can visit the ship- via her digital twin- and not have to pay a fortune to do it or risk the inherent dangers of descending two and a half miles into the crushing abyss as others have in the past few years! This IS Titanic, herself, recreated through thousands of scanned views. carefully and intricately joined together into the world's first 3d model of the actual ship in her present condition! Very highly recommended for any Titanic enthusiast!
Magellan will forever be known as the GOAT for releasing this as a game. I dont have a lot of time to play due to work but this game is absolutely incredible and fun to play. The only additions I have are, I wish the timer could be turned off and I also wish the overall hue of the game could be changed so that it looked more colorful instead of just the blue. Thank You, Magellan. You guys are awesome.
Me encanta el juego por que he visto la pelicula del Titanic como unas 300 vecez
Despite limited amounts of content this is truly one of the most comprehensive pieces of data ever given to the public on Titanic, the ability to see her as she is is really quite eye-opening. There is a real eeriness to seeing the wreckage itself through a screen, knowing that the areas you see in the 3d scan were where heroic officers gave their lives lowering boats, or freeing the collapsibles, or where hundreds of people clung on desperate for some last hope of survival. It is eye opening, it really shows how destructive the final hours of Titanic were, and despite the detail in the scans only being around ten percent of the real scans, you can still make out details like the linoleum tiles scattered from third class in the stern section. I find it is a game to play in remorseful silence and absolute wonder. There are obviously a few improvements the community seek, notably the scan percentage being increased which I do agree should be done, most systems can handle it. Alongside adding the debris field, which we hope is soon to come! Notable features that could be improved is the optional 'mission' mode and a UI removal key. The scanning missions help trivialize/ commercialise the wreckage when it should be treated with more dignity and respect. The removal would also preferably include the laser pointer also. Lastly, the increase of the scan quality should be considered, the game can run fantastic as it is with only a few gigs taken up, however we're at the point where computers can handle ~90gb games with ease, not to mention the flight sims. Notable features to add could be strafe abilities (left and right), and perhaps patching the scan areas where possible, without the requirement of going back down, simply filling the interior of the ship with blackness would stop people from being able to peek under shell-plating to see into the hollow interior. Some meshes are not doublesided, which means if you want to view them from a separate angle you may just see through it. These do not detract from the game, however it is more of an exploration simulator with.. slapped on game aspects. With a bit of improvement I could see this being one of the best Titanic experiences on the market.
