Simulation of the Laser Harp used from the 80's, with original samples taken from an Elka Synthex for the authentic experience. Change octaves and scales to provide a full keyboard, this is a close simulation including the limitations of that original system.

It is exactly what it claims to be.
You can play laser notes and a memory game which is great to take the stress off and give something for the kids to play in VR that actually will help their brain. My daughter and I were playing this and had lots of fun. I mainly bought it for my kids to mess around with but people that like to do memory games and some simle music can enjoy this. $2. It does what it says. Anything that can be played like an instrument in VR is worth having in the library.
Dreadful. Don`t buy this if you have any musical leanings, your ears will NEVER forgive you. It`s in no recognisable way, a musical instrument. - To begin with, the image is very , very jittery and flits all over the place making it virtually impossible to hit the beam you are aiming for, It`s not my rift, which is set up perfectly. (Every other game has a rock solid image), I suspect poor optimization/performance. Secondly, you seem only to be able to actually play notes with your LEFT Oculus touch hand/controller, I couldn`t play a single note with my right controller. The other controls octave, scale, sample etc. Lastly (and by far the worst fault), every control input, in fact ANYTHING you do with your right hand, is accompanied by various bleeps and bloops. If you WERE managing to squeeze something actually melodic out of the program, those bleeps and bloops will punctuate and ruin it. Sorry to be so critical, but I use a lot of Electronic Music hardware and software and I just hated this.

I played this on the Oculus Rift with Touch controllers and did not notice any issues. This game does exactly what it says it does. So I think i got my money's worth. Keep in mind the limitations of the Laser Harp. It's not like you can play the instrument fast. I believe the maximum amount of lasers (notes) you can play is 26. And there are 4 octaves to play with. The configuration of the instrument is like a keyboard or piano. I only wish there was a way to have middle C labeled, but if you have an ear (or just practice finding Middle C by playing instruments), then you will easily find your way around to play songs. I think this app is easily worth the sale price of .99 cents or even full price of $1.99, just keep in mind you need prior musical experience or training to be able to do anything with this app so it's not for everyone.
Very impressed with this. Very well designed and sounds great. What would give it additional versatility would be some extra switchable sound patches. The only downside is that fast sequences don't seem possible but I'm not sure whether that is just down to the patch having a slow attack time or an inherent limitation on the controller position detection algorithm being used. I hope people support this and allow you to develop this further. Having never seen the original I can't comment on the physical layout of the lasers but personally I'd prefer a slightly curved layout, especially where larger numbers are concerned.
This is pretty awesome so far. I've always wanted to try out a laser harp but, ya know, didn't want to shell out a couple of grand to own one. Now have access for $1.99! Can't beat that. My son loved this and was creating tunes after just a few minutes of getting the hang of hitting the beams with the controllers. Definitaly worth a try even if it's just for a simple demo to introduce people who are new to VR.
I am very saddened, but I cannot recommend this until it's fixed. An update or an eroor has stopped the laser harp from playing, so at the moment, it's throwing money away to buy a dud. If the developer fixes it, which I doubt because there's been no activity in around 2 and a half years. I will Gladly change this to 5 stars, and recommend because when it worked, it were a JJJ fans dream come true.
Pour les fans de la harpe Laser foncez ! ^^
