Vorago is a grippingly interesting & aesthetically tasty puzzle/adventure/horror game set during an instance of stopped time in the depths of space. In it, you must navigate through desolate space stations and the far reaches of the void to solve intricate puzzles, avoid (and eventually surmount) the cacodemons that lie in your way, and piece together what happened to yourself and everyone else involved in the arcane (and occult) circumstances that surround the "Time-Event". Saying much more might give away a lot of the charm and heart that this game contains. Vorago is legitimately challenging in needing to pay attention to *everything* and piece apart all the logs you receive to progress. The plot plays with ideas that are uniquely compelling and urge you to continue figuring things out - all while wrapped up in the quite-cool (and at times, worrisome) environment. I found myself entranced by it and had to finish the game to see where all the ideas culminated; this is made even more remarkable by the fact that there's, apparently, a secret 2nd ending that I've yet to discover too, urging a second playthrough. In short - it's good. It's real good, especially for a solo-devved freshman debut. Check it out if you want something fresh, challenging, and overall interesting to chew on for a while.
Challenging puzzles, tense atmosphere and a mind-bending story that leaves you with questions. A great hidden indie gem! Loved it, can't wait for more! 10/10
Spooky and cerebral! You really need to pay attention to every detail. I'm going to try to finish this gem now...
An extremely atmospheric game. I was too spooked most of the time to figure out the puzzles (see my hours at time of posting, but I'm still not finished) The puzzles can be difficult at times, but most everything just took some thinking... a few steps away from the spooky game. The open space exploration system is really cool, using the GPS and finding+using transmitter codes.. it's just all really immersive
Heard about this game from a friend and downloaded steam just to check it out. Only at the beginning but loving it so far! Super spooky and the puzzles are fun and challenging
great soundtrack and consistently innovative puzzles, very cool!
Easily one of the most unique and interesting games I've played in recent memory. Some parts I felt were slightly too difficult (near the beginning) but it does kind of train you for the rest of the game. Overall, great music and creepy ambience and an interesting enough premise and story that kept me going to the end. Definitely worth playing, especially if you like super-challenging puzzle-games.
A cool little horror game
Feels very cheaply made. One of the parts of the game is going through hallways and avoiding being killed by enemies, but the only controls are three keyboard buttons: turn right 90 degrees, turn left 90 degrees, and move forward. There is no free look, no move backward or sideways. So a lot of my deaths are caused by the player character being too slow to look, and too clumsy to move sideways.
Really cool atmosphere and a fun puzzle game!
