Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Sep 4 → 2.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Voodoo Fishin’ is a 1–6 player online co-op creepy-cozy fishing game featuring proximity voice chat and swamp-dwelling surprises.
Venture into the bayou with friends in search of rare and legendary fish. The deeper you go, the stranger things get.
Fish together. Laugh together. Try not to lose your haul. If you die, the swamp keeps your catch. (And any Tackle you have equipped)

Craft your puppet angler and hit the dock!

It’s chill… until it isn’t. This swamp hunts back.
If you make it back alive, the Fish Monger pays by the pound.

Upgrade your Bait, Reels, and Rods to chase bigger and rarer fish
The swamp doesn’t run on corporate servers. Voodoo Fishin’ is self-hosted, so once you’re in, you can always jump back in with friends. No server shutdowns. No “service discontinued.”
The swamp stays open as long as you can stay alive.
The demo provides access to the full core gameplay systems, but limits world exploration and higher-tier Tackle.

fun with freinds
I love this so much
A good fishing game. It has it's flaws here and there but it has fundamentally solid fishing mechanics. I cannot think of a fishing game that has more interesting fishing than this one, both in the mechanics of fishing itself and in the finding of fish. My one complaint, something the developer has already stated intent to fix, is that sometimes fish don't generate in your map, and you can't find certain species of fish. This is due to fish locations not being completely fixed, and there being no failsafe to ensure each species is accounted for. Looking forward to the game getting better as early access progresses, and updating this review as progress is made.

This is a really fun game with some interesting mechanics. It's relaxing to play and catching different kinds of fish is genuinely enjoyable. However, there are a few things that seriously hurt the overall experience: No way to defend yourself against monsters. They attack way too often and become more annoying than challenging. There should be some kind of item that can be bought in the shop or unlocked through quotas that lets you scare monsters away or temporarily kill them. The movement penalty while carrying the fridge. It's extremely difficult to get anywhere with it because your character can't even jump onto many shore areas. On top of that, the fridge blocks almost your entire view, making it hard to see where you're going. Maybe adding a third-person camera while carrying it would solve this problem. You can't take anything back out of the fridge. For example, I might want to throw away a fish, replace it, or take one out to use as bait. Right now, none of that is possible. The soundtrack could use more variety. Most of the tracks sound very similar, and there aren't many of them. A larger and more diverse soundtrack would make longer play sessions much more enjoyable. Here are a few features I'd love to see added in the future: An item that can save you if you fall into the water, such as a life ring. It could also allow a teammate to pull you out for a short time. An alternative to the fridge, like a fish storage net. It could have less capacity than the fridge, but the fish wouldn't be able to float away, and you'd still be able to recover them after dying. It would be great if the boats placed around the map were actually usable. They're already there, but you can't interact with them or sail anywhere. Some kind of story or long-term objective. I understand it's a simulator, but having a bigger goal would give players more motivation to catch fish and earn money, and it would keep the game interesting for much longer. P.S. I know some of these ideas might sound a bit unbalanced, but they're just rough suggestions. If you keep improving and polishing the game, I think it has the potential to become much more fun.
