Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Sep 4 → 2.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Venture into the bayou with friends in search of rare and legendary fish. The deeper you go, the stranger things get.
Fish together. Laugh together. Try not to lose your haul. If you die, the swamp keeps your catch. (And any Tackle you have equipped)

Craft your puppet angler and hit the dock!

It’s chill… until it isn’t. This swamp hunts back.
If you make it back alive, the Fish Monger pays by the pound.

The swamp doesn’t run on corporate servers. Voodoo Fishin’ is self-hosted, so once you’re in, you can always jump back in with friends. No server shutdowns. No “service discontinued.”
The swamp stays open as long as you can stay alive.
The demo provides access to the full core gameplay systems, but limits world exploration and higher-tier Tackle.

I love this game. Its a casual fishing game based off specific fish categorization via baits, Line depth, and environmental factors. you could play alone or with friends. Also the developers are cooperative and active in the discord! If you ever get stuck on finding a fish like me, there is a vault of fishing spots and information. This game is great 👍

Developed and published by Lost Arcade, Voodoo Fishin' takes an imaginative approach to multiplayer fishing by combining the calm satisfaction of casting a line with the constant unease of supernatural horror. Rather than presenting fishing as a purely relaxing activity, the game transforms every trip into an unpredictable adventure where players must decide whether to push their luck for greater rewards or retreat before the swamp's sinister forces catch up with them. This unusual blend of genres creates an experience that feels fresh, offering equal measures of cozy exploration, teamwork, and nerve-racking survival. Its eerie bayou setting serves as more than just an attractive backdrop, becoming an active part of the gameplay through hidden dangers, mysterious locations, and an atmosphere that never lets players feel completely safe. The gameplay revolves around venturing into cursed waters to catch fish of varying rarity while steadily improving your equipment and skills. Each successful expedition earns money based on the weight and quality of the day's catch, allowing players to purchase stronger rods, upgraded reels, better bait, and improved tackle that open opportunities to pursue even more valuable species. This progression system provides a satisfying incentive to continue exploring deeper regions of the swamp, where the greatest rewards are often accompanied by the greatest risks. The game encourages careful planning rather than reckless exploration, as every decision to stay out a little longer could lead to either a profitable haul or a devastating loss. Exploration plays a major role in keeping the experience engaging. The haunted wetlands hide new fishing spots, unusual wildlife, and legendary fish waiting to be discovered by adventurous players. Every new area introduces a stronger sense of mystery, with environmental storytelling and unsettling visuals gradually building suspense without relying on constant jump scares. The balance between peaceful fishing and creeping horror is one of the game's strongest qualities. Quiet moments spent waiting for a bite can suddenly transform into desperate attempts to escape whatever lurks within the darkness, creating memorable pacing that keeps each expedition unpredictable. Cooperative multiplayer greatly enhances the overall experience. Supporting up to four players with online co-op and proximity voice chat, the game encourages teamwork while naturally creating humorous and chaotic moments during encounters with supernatural threats. Friends can work together to explore unfamiliar territory, search for valuable catches, and share the excitement of rare discoveries, but everyone must also deal with the consequences when things go wrong. The proximity-based communication strengthens immersion by making conversations feel more realistic, especially when teammates become separated across the swamp or panic during dangerous encounters. One of the more interesting design choices is the meaningful penalty for failure. Dying during an expedition results in losing both collected fish and equipped gear, ensuring that every outing carries genuine consequences. This mechanic adds excitement and encourages thoughtful decision-making, though it may also frustrate players who prefer a more forgiving progression system. Fortunately, the risk-reward balance fits well with the game's overall survival theme, making successful returns feel significantly more satisfying than they would in a traditional fishing simulator. As an Early Access title, these systems are also likely to receive continued adjustments based on player feedback, giving the developers room to refine progression and difficulty over time. Visually, Voodoo Fishin' succeeds in creating a world that is simultaneously charming and unsettling. The stylized character designs contrast effectively with the haunting environments, producing an identity that stands apart from both realistic fishing games and conventional horror titles. The audio design further reinforces the atmosphere through ambient swamp sounds, subtle environmental effects, and tense moments that gradually build anticipation without overwhelming the quieter aspects of exploration. Together, the presentation supports the game's goal of delivering an experience that feels relaxing one moment and suspenseful the next. Although the game remains in Early Access and still has room to expand its content and polish, its core concept is already remarkably compelling. Lost Arcade has established a strong foundation by successfully merging fishing, cooperative adventure, exploration, and supernatural horror into a cohesive package that rarely feels forced. Players looking for a unique multiplayer experience that rewards curiosity, teamwork, and calculated risk will find plenty to enjoy as the game continues to evolve. With continued development and community-driven improvements, Voodoo Fishin' has the potential to become one of the more distinctive entries in both the fishing and cooperative horror genres. If you like fishing with friends then this is a great game. Devs been updating the game every week adding more content. Despite the monsters, it is a pretty chill experience with that Cajun flavor to everything.
