I don't normally like puzzle games, because I normally get extremely frustrated and bounce off of them whenever I hit a wall. This is the only puzzle game I've played to date that has been challenging but has never made me feel stupid. Also the soundtrack is genuinely fantastic Edit: Finished what I believe to be the "true" ending. Insane stuff.
mindblowing
I had a great time with this! It went on for so so much longer than I expected (in a good way!)

after years of feeling like i "need" a story in games, this eased me back to valuing the marriage of gameplay and tone. yes, there is a compelling narrative and incredible music. what is really incredible is this game guided me step-by-step to the joy of feeling myself become faster and smarter through arcade-style failure. the thrill of zipping through levels that previously took hours to overcome keeps you glued to do Just One More for hours. the aesthetic, music, characters, and mystery constantly draw you in a little further. beautiful and dangerous. ultimately the story was not made for me, but it doesn't matter. this was one of the most important experiences i had in 2024. i am scared to boot the game back up because it is hard to put down.
this was, without overexaggeration, the best experience I ever had playing video games I don't know if I can convey why I feel this way without spoiling everything, so I'll just say that if you start playing this game, don't give up
sick as hell, excellent puzzley dungeon crawling and fun mechanics with some fun depth and atmosphere. Some dialogue is hit or miss to my taste but there's some great vibes with the world building and general character motivation.
absolute cinema
I liked this game. I would highly recommend this for someone who would play Zelda 1 on NES with no guide. The game is best experienced blind with minimal outside help. The puzzles were very fun and the game has a massive amount of secrets that enhance replay value and reward close observation. However, I was disappointed with the game's story, which fails to explain essential plot points and relies heavily on tropes instead of substantial depth of plot or characters.
