About
A sprawling, labyrinth stretches out ahead, steeped in shadow. Foes lurk behind every corner, but only through combat and perseverance can you endure. Death is but a lesson, you have no choice but to try again. And again. And again.
Explore a hand-crafted world and master how to take down formidable bosses in the minimalist souls-like you've been looking for! On your quest to liberate an enslaved world, you will face off against sword-wielding grunts, arrow-flinging fiends, and brutal bosses that will test your strength and skill.
Gain Sols by defeating enemies and exploring a world filled with challenges. Bonfires offer some relief in this unforgiving world, and allow you to tailor and refine your build using your gathered Sols. Equip new weapons, alter your stats, and adapt to the challenges ahead. Just be sure to reclaim your Sols whenever you’re bested by a foe…
Venture into this abstract fantasy and discover secrets of the world. Explore different biomes and illuminate every corner to find rare items, secret paths, and the truth behind a world plunged into darkness.
In Void Sols, every fight is a lesson, and you must master your weapons, skills and movement to take down challenging foes. Turn the tides in your favour by studying your enemies, exploiting their weaknesses, and using their own traps against them. Gain allies, watch for attack patterns, and perfect your timing in combat as you navigate this harsh land.
Void Sols is the perfect distillation of the souls-like genre. With a range of difficulty sliders, you can either ease your way into its unforgiving world as a newcomer or test your mettle against relentless challenges that will push even souls-like veterans to their limits.

I enjoy it for a 2d souls its very nice. very responsive and feels good to play.
Genuinely pretty good. I played it for 5 minutes, decided I hated it.... Then I went into the settings and turned down all the visual distortion stuff, and had a MUCH better time with it. I've played for about 10 hours and I have beat the game. I got a ton of extra achievements, but I've by no means done everything. Though it should be noted, much of my time was spent getting lost... I swear, I get lost in my bedroom, and it's very small. It's a souls like, but it goes so much more than that. Like, if you want the game to be punishingly hard, you can choose that. You can choose to turn down how much damage you do in the settings, and how much damage you take.... Or you can make the game much easier, or even make yourself invincible if you choose. Sometimes the puzzles require you to have psychic powers to get inside the devs mind, and the internet isn't very helpful. If you're using google, as per usual, you should ignore the "AI Overview" it has no idea what this game is, it should really just be deleted from all search results. No clanker overviews, thanks. There's a few good guides on steam, for a particularly bewildering code puzzle. And locations for mushrooms and fish. But the other guide on steam is out of date... And that's it for guides. But I'm an idiot, and I managed to get through it, so I should imagine you'll be able to as well. If you do get stuck, some people have uploaded playthroughs on youtube, so you could watch those for help. ^_^ Some of the sections in the end game made me suspect I had eaten too many mushrooms. But ultimately, it was fun to explore and I'm sad that I've finished the game. Because I really did have a good time. I look forward to playing again in future. I hope you give this a go as well, but more than that, I hope you have as much fun as I did. Thank you for reading, have a lovely day. <3
ein sehr gutes souls–like
If you like gameplay, get it. If you like seeing rays of sunlight cascading across the pores on someone's forehead, look elsewhere.
If you like souls likes you will love this. fun combat, great bosses, lots of secrets, and a bunch of character build options. It does it's own unique thing with the souls formula and it deserve more recognition
Excellent souls-like that keeps up the pace through out various stages. Well worth the price and time
Very good game! This has been on my wish list since I watched Iron Pineapple play it haha! I'm glad I finally picked it up!
very very good, idk how more people havent played it
Great little soulslike adventure, absolutely worth a go...
The only thing this game fails to do, is to advertise how good it really is. Its steam page and trailer seem to lean into the "abstract" part of the theme, while the game is at it's core very atmospheric. Void Sols took me by suprise: I expected short, simple adventure, and here I am after 14 hours, still playing, still discovering new weapons, relics, mechanics, builds, enemies and bosses, in a game that's a very successful love letter to Dark Souls, and a one without annoying camera.
